Easy to assemble and clean. I purchased it to replace the enclosed litter box I had previously, at my vet's suggestion. I use a low-dust litter, but my cat is constantly sneezing after using her box. The vet was right, and having an open litter box makes a significant difference. The sides are high enough to keep litter contained.

Let's face it, if we could afford a $200 piece of furniture to hide our litter box, I wouldn't be writing this and you wouldn't be reading it. LOL
Just adopted a cat. (Thank you, thank you🩷) My guy needs high sides. All other brands in same category are triple the price.  Why? Navy blue wouldn't have been my choice, but it will be in the bottom of a closet, so it's not an issue. And this is made by IRIS. Have always appreciated their quality over the years. Pro Tip: when you set the lid in place, push down on the side slits where the rims meet to lock it in. Pull up to make sure they've caught. Get one. You won't regret it.

For years I've used litter boxes.  I realize the enclosed ones help control odor, but I can't explain why I prefer open litter boxes.  Maybe it's because I clean them daily, realizing cats like clean toilets as much as humans do.

BUT the problem of course with open litter boxes is litter escaping when your pet covers his job.  Bravo to the genius to invented this removable wall for litter boxes!

This is so affordable and effective for me, minimizing litter escaping the box.

I'm glad I didn't go by previous reviews. I have a large finicky, elderly cat. She's able to get inside the litter box and have plenty of room to do her business. The top only fits one way and snaps into place securely. She's able to scratch with her normal habits without popping the top off. I highly recommend this particular little box. I got this litter box because my new kitten was getting litter everywhere. I am pleased to say this box has put an end to that issue.   It is deeper then the other litter box that was provided when I adopted him and the sides keep all the litter inside the box. My kitten easily gets in and out of this box as well.

Worth buying

The litter boxes that I purchased are very well made. I use Johnny cat liners and the litter shield fits over them and locks onto the box with no problem. My cats are large and they use the boxes no problem. The size is perfect for my cats. 
I would recommend giving these a try .

Sturdy and well made litter box by IRIS

I have kittens who like to dig in their litter which scattered it all over the floor. The guard is opaque and open on top, so they had no issues about using the new enclosed litter box. The top snaps on on the sides; I was concerned at first since it does not tightly snap on, but it proved to not be an issue. Because it is not tighly on, it is easy to take it off when it comes time to change the litter. When my 5 month old kittens decide to jump onto the shield to exit the box (instead of going through the doorway), it supports them just fine.  The first one I bought worked so well, I bought a 2nd to replace my other litter box. I would definitely recommend this to others who have cats who like to dig

I have bought two of these litter boxes. I used to have only one big cat with a covered litter box. I always felt bad for him trying to use it and turn round. But now, we have two cats, one big cat and one little cat and neither has an issue using these.

Enough Room to P***

my cat doesnt squat all the way .so, he has a tendency to urinate over the edge.  Thi cat box has worked  real well. the only down fall is it comes in 2 parts. people tend to try and pick it up by the lid and it breaks the tabs that hol it toght againt the lower have. This is the second time ive bought this box.  I wish it were all one piece.

I purchased it to replace a litter box if similar size for my make Manx cat because he doesn't always get the poop inside the box due to his tailess nature. I'm hoping he will be more successful with this one due to the side going up much higher with the add on top.

I foster cats and have been helped over 30 cats.  I recently purchased 6 of these litter boxes.  This litter box is horrible.  The size is too small for an average size cat (6-10 lbs). The lids do not securely snap on to the base, and every time I scoop I run my hands along where the lid connects to the bottom to be sure it is securely in place.  Fifty percent of the time the lid pops off when a cat uses the box. The lid dislodges when a cat turns around in the box and rubs up against the lid. Therefore, rendering the box not useable, since the lid is partially now over the litter and it prevents the cat from getting into the box to use it.  Don't waste your money.!
