Functionality

Pretty to look at. I have two of these in the black and gray color. They go well with my decor. I also paired it with the black litter genie. We ended up returning the hooded corner litter box we bought from PetSmart because the Iris litter box did great with controlling odor! I recently had a housewarming and did a tour of my home with my guests. I was afraid if I showed them the litter area that there would be a stench but my guests told me they couldn’t even smell anything so that was great to hear! Also the grooves on top really help. No tracking whatsoever. I really love how simple the design is. Cant really tell its a litter box unless you go up to it! I would definitely recommend this product. Plus it comes with an attachable hook and scooper.

Modern design. Pretty and functional!

This is great! We have a small house, so the litter box has to be in the living room. Not ideal and who wants to look at a litter box??? This doesn't look like a litter box and sits in a corner and doesn't draw attention. No tracked litter all over the floor anymore. Helps with kitty litter smell too, even though we do clean the box several times a week. Highly recommend this litter box!

Fantastic Litter Box Design!

I've only had this about a week, but I really like it. First, I was worried about the size. I've seen a LOT of products that have a picture of a full grown cat badly pasted over their product - and then you get the product and it's half the size you were expecting. This is actually a decent size. I think very young kittens would probably not be able to use it due to the height (a few weeks old, would be fine), but my fully grown chonker is able to fit in it just fine. She's also SUPER picky, which leads me to what was by second worry. She's incredibly picky. Wrong litter? Won't use it. Haven't scooped it since the last time she peed? Won't use it. Ran to the store and left the dog to toss litter everywhere? Won't use it.... but will use the litter that is now thrown everywhere. You get the idea. Ms. Kitty also does this thing where she likes to start off normally and mid-way through, she moves to balance on the side. I don't know... maybe leverage? She used it the first day - for both pee and poop. So excited! She never covers anything over, but so far it's done a decent job at covering the smell until I check and scoop it. When I remove the cover to scoop, there's not a wall of stank that hits either, so it's not just staying around, trapped inside.

Overall, it's sturdy. The opening is large enough for my fully grown cat to easily get in and out of. It's also big enough for quick scoopings if needed.
Kitty likes to chill on the tray (?) thing up top (she's a big girl). Comes with a rounded scoop to get every little bit. Scoop clips on the outside. Does decent at covering the smell. 10000% keeps my dog from tossing litter everywhere.

Better than I expected

I have had this litter box for about 2 weeks and my cats love it. It is nice and roomy so a large cat could easily fit in here. It helps with litter tracking and it is easy to take the lid off and put back on to clean out the litter. I have purchased much more expensive top entry litter boxes in the past and there is no need to spend more money. I would buy this again if I needed another litter box. It is a great price for a great product.

Great top entry litter box

It doesn?t look like a litter box at all! It also helps keep litter from falling onto the floor because of the groves in it. Though, it hasn?t stopped it entirely. Still, I do notice a big difference with it. It?s a lot bigger then I expected which is nice, but the hole on top is a little big making it where the smell can come out a little easier then a litter box with a lid and hole on the side. All and all, pretty satisfied.

Big!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With an 2 year old cat and a 10 week kitten, I was a bit hesitant switching to this litter box, but I've had my eye on it for months as the next litter box to try out. I was unsure if my adult cat would make the switch since she's always had an open box and/or if my kitten would easily get in and out of the box at this age.

I'm pleased to say my cat make the transition with ease. In fact, I think she prefers this over the open litter boxes because it gives her privacy. My kitten is still transitioning to this litter box. She can successfully get out, but she is a little more wary going in versus using an open box. We take off the lid when we know she's going to do her business and put it on after she's finished (and still in container) and this seems to have helped. I will more than likely buy an additional box in the smaller size for her.

Since my cat and kitten have been using this box, I notice they rarely track now, which is the main feature of this litter box that I was interested. I am more than satisfied with the results. I have noticed a very slight cutdown on smell, but we scoop frequently, so smell isn't generally an issue for us.

There are numerous color options and since these litter boxes don't look like traditional litter boxes, you can blend them in with furniture as needed. I highly recommend this litter box, especially for anyone having tracking issues with their cat(s).

Cuts down on tracking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this behemoth of liter box and while it works , Its just too big (tall) . Hard to find a descrete spot for , so if you are looking for a small box this isnt the one for you. If space isnt a problem then this will work just fine.

too bulky

We bought this product because we have a dog. But the lid keeps caving in. Our cats are still kittens.
One of the locking buttons doesn't even go through the hole. Cheap plastic, very flimsy. I wish we could just buy a new lid, to give another try. Not sure I want to buy a whole new box.

Broken Lid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a cat person: I got this for my mom in laws kitty. Although it has a nice modern shape to it, this litter box is very large and will not work in her medium size condo: better for a McMansion type house.

It's huge!

It is bigger than I anticipated and that's all it has going for it. It arrived on time in a box with NOTHING wrapped and no hook as seen in the pictures for the scoop. The scoop is small and flimsy looking so I will be discarding it. My cat who is 9 lbs hopped on only to sit on it for a few seconds beforr FALLING in top and all. The tabs on the side don't seem to be effective in holding the top as my cat fell in easily. I'm lucky I didn't put litter in it yet. Don't expect any type of instructions either or some way to contact the manufacturer. I'm highly disappointed in this product and won't be using it.
