My cats used this right away. One of them stands up while she is peeing so this box doesn't allow her to pee out of the litter box. Plenty big for my two cats. They are about 12lbs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered for 1 cat, and bought 1 more for my other cat. Love the size and simplicity of the style.

Needed a new litter box that was closed but also easy access for my boys who like to spray outside the box. It's great light and compact but also large enough for them. Super easy to clean and leaves virtually no mess. My boy cats love it.

Lids have started being too loose. The black lids fall in when a cat stands on them!!!!
Never before have I had lids from this company be so terrible. Only the black lids have come like this! My cat fell into the boxes and nothing could fix them.

THE LIDS CAME WAY TOO BIG FOR THE BOXES

Oval shaped would be better squared off at corners for easier litter cleaning. I have a big cat and even though it's billed as “made for a big cat, my cat doesn't fit real well. He would be better if the hole in lid was in the middle”
He still uses it but it's hard to clean.

Not for a large cat

If your cat is over 10lbs, I'm unsure I'd use this style (and if it's under 10lbs, this is too big). I used the previous perforated lid style of iris top entry litter box, so I thought this would be okay. Also other reviews made me think it might be alright for a heavier cat. I'm not so sure though. The platform has too much give to it, and it makes me think that pretty soon I'm going to wake up to the sound of my cat crashing down into the litter box. It's also incredibly wide, which I guess is good if you are actually using this for a small lion or something, but even my giant 15lb cat doesn't need it that wide. Just ends up wasting more litter. I'm returning this and trying to find the older lid style that iris made elsewhere.

Not a good option for heavier cats

Nice appearance and main part seems to be good quality but the top portion is very flimsy. The way it connects is not sturdy so the top feels like it could fall in at any moment. The hole is also huge, which I guess could be a plus if you have an extremely large cat but we chose a top entry so there'd be smaller area opened.

Horrible cheap quality plastic. Did not even stay together for 2 days before having to throw it away.
