Snap-on lid and removable top simplify cleaning.

Features a clever concept with a wipe-down exterior.

It's tall and so hard for my adult cat to go inside. I have to lift him inside and it takes a lot of effort for him to get out.at the end he pooped outside.

So tall, my cat can't go inside

Way bigger than I thought it would be. Definitely measure out what you have in mind before you buy it. Cat loves it. Drastically reduces the kitty litter that gets spread around outside the litter box. Never going back to a more traditional litter box.

If you are thinking about it buy it if it fits…

walmart.com

If your cat is over 10lbs, I'm unsure I'd use this style (and if it's under 10lbs, this is too big). I used the previous perforated lid style of iris top entry litter box, so I thought this would be okay. Also other reviews made me think it might be alright for a heavier cat. I'm not so sure though. The platform has too much give to it, and it makes me think that pretty soon I'm going to wake up to the sound of my cat crashing down into the litter box. It's also incredibly wide, which I guess is good if you are actually using this for a small lion or something, but even my giant 15lb cat doesn't need it that wide. Just ends up wasting more litter. I'm returning this and trying to find the older lid style that iris made elsewhere.

Not a good option for heavier cats

Ad said it has rubber feet, thats why I chose this over a cheaper one. Small circles at the bottom. It cost almost $50. Go to Dollar Tree, get a nice size bucket with lid Cut hole, and sand good. Less than $5.00 gets you a litter box. Sooo disappointed!!!!!

$50 way too much for this piece of plastic!!!!!

Oval shaped would be better squared off at corners for easier litter cleaning. I have a big cat and even though it's billed as “made for a big cat, my cat doesn't fit real well. He would be better if the hole in lid was in the middle”
He still uses it but it's hard to clean.

Not for a large cat

Nice appearance and main part seems to be good quality but the top portion is very flimsy. The way it connects is not sturdy so the top feels like it could fall in at any moment. The hole is also huge, which I guess could be a plus if you have an extremely large cat but we chose a top entry so there'd be smaller area opened.

Lids have started being too loose. The black lids fall in when a cat stands on them!!!!
Never before have I had lids from this company be so terrible. Only the black lids have come like this! My cat fell into the boxes and nothing could fix them.

THE LIDS CAME WAY TOO BIG FOR THE BOXES

My cats used this right away. One of them stands up while she is peeing so this box doesn't allow her to pee out of the litter box. Plenty big for my two cats. They are about 12lbs.

Perfect litter box!

We haven't had any litter go on our floor yet! So nice to not have to deal with the constant litter mess. My cat adjusted easily as well from a normal litter box. I put him in there once and he had no problem using it after that.

Mess saver

Lid falls in every time the cat jumps on top. Lid is poorly designed in attaching to bottom. Had to just take the lid off in order for cats to use it at all.

Poor Design

IRIS USA, Top Entry Cat Litter Box with Litter Catching Grooved Lid in white and black. The oval-shaped litter box features a top entry design with a grooved lid to reduce litter scatter and a molded hook for hanging the included black litter scoop. A cat is shown peeking out of the top opening.
