I saw another review that saying that the top part doesn't lock into the bottom, but that hasn't been our experience. I'm able to snap the top sheild to the bottom itter box on the side. It fits well and stays on. My question is: Is there an extended backsplash that snaps into the 4 notches at the back of the sheild? I currently have plastic drop cloth draped into the box because even with the high sides our larger cat manages to sometimes spray over the top.

Is there a snap-in extended backsplash for this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always had a problem with my cat going and staying in his litter box, but now after getting this he absolutely loves this litter box I assume its because the privacy. It does a great job of keeping everything contained in the box and is made of heavy materials. Also it is made for the corner so it's not in your walking area like traditional cat boxes! If you are struggling with litter getting all over your floor this is the cat litter box to go with because it really does stay in the box. Another bonus is it comes with a scoop!

My cat loves this box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this extra large open-top litter box, and I couldn't be more satisfied. With two large cats who love to dig and scatter, I was desperate for a solution that could contain the mess without making them feel cramped—and this box nailed it. The design makes it easy to clean and very durable. Not sure how well it will hold the odor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new litter box with a lid that keeps the smell concealed inside the litter box.
I have 11 lb cats medium sized. They have room in it to even turn around. Comes with a scoop. Scoop is sturdy only thing scoop could be deeper. But that's my preference. Sturdy plastic. Lid fits on snug. Will let my friends and family know about this litter box.

Great Cat Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This will work for smaller cats but I personally thought it was on the smaller side for a full grown average adult cat. I do like the style of this cat litter box as it takes less space in my opinion.

On the small side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I really love this litter box. The easy open lid is great for me when I go to scoop the litter box. However I do not recommend that you get this litter box if you have a dog or any other pet that likes to eat cat excrement. Because it is way too easy for a dog to push up on the lid and have a greater access to the kitty waste. However if you have an older cat I think this this will make them feel a little more OK with the open space if you leave the top open for them. Personally I have left the top closed and just scoop as needed but it does help to open it tonight because not always do cats make a mess when it's easy to get to. I actually really do like this product. But I highly suggest you only use it if you have a cat only household. I think maybe in the next version of this that they should add a little latch so a dog can't get in it

Also their scoop isnt that great so I used my own. I gave you before pictures because you don't want to see it after my cats got in it. Lol. I also kept the door flap off cause my cars won't use litterboxes if they have that.

I did have a little issue with the latches on the side not wanting to click shut but I think it was because it was new. Now it fits a liner and still closes tight

Not bad, could be a tiny bit better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats have been using the IRIS Large Hooded Corner Litter Box with Scoop over the last month. I really like it because it goes perfect in the corner and is out of the way. The size is a little smaller than I expected which is probably fine for most but 2 if my cats are large cats so it's an obstacle for them to fit in.

Nice but a tad small

I like that it's a bit bigger than the old one. Big issue is the swing of the door... Sometimes gets pushed over out, and not completely shutting w/o pushing it in with my foot so my cat can get back in.

No so pushy door.

walmart.com

This is not large, the scoop is a joke. Tiny and made so poorly. The only thing that is good about this box is the shape.

Disappointed

Only (2) latches on the sides. One would NOT latch. Twice the price of the last one I bought. And NOT worth even half the price because I could NOT use.

Piece of Junk!
