I can't express enough how much my family and friends love ICEMULE COOLERS. It all started a couple of years ago that we bought a cooler, because we saw one of our friends that had one. Since then, we have bought as xmas gifts for the family, and turned most of our close friends over to the ICEMULE family. When we go to the lake and throw our cooler into the water the conversations begin about the amazing cooler.

The ICEMULE BOSS is everything it is advertised to be. It keeps drinks cold all day (even while fishing the Gulf of Mexico during summer), and the storage compartments are perfectly sized for carrying extra gear. Their customer service is second to none. I had an issue with one of the compartment zippers, and they took care of it in less than 24 hours. Amazing product, even better customer service!

Excellent product, even better customer service

More comfortable than I expected. Doesn't hold as much as I would like, but comfort is top notch and worth the price of admission. No other backpack cooler is going to be this comfortable, even fully loaded. It is heavy but that's a tradeoff for better insulation. To be honest I don't really notice the weight because the harness system is so good. I do wish it had more storage room for other items like shoes, clothes etc. but again that's a tradeoff. The one thing I would wish for if I could have everything I wanted is better back ventillation. But that's kind of a ridiculous ask and more personal preference anyway. Also, because it looks like a hiking backpack rather than a cooler, the casual thief is not going to know what this is and so it is more theft resistant than something recognizagle as expensive like a yeti. I don't agree with some of the reviews that state it needs a zipper on the top roll. The top roll is the reason I bought it. It is a bit difficult to get closed though. But that's an acceptable tradeoff.

More comfortable than I expected.

I have taken my Ice Mule Boss on several overnight white water paddle boarding trips, music festivals, beach days, park days, and have even checked it as luggage on a few international flights. It is my go to cooler. It holds ice longer than my Yeti 45 and is way more portable. Best thing is, that when this cooler did finally rip after years of abuse, Ice Mule replaced it no questions asked under their warranty plan. ICE MULE is a Great Company.

The Boss is a Boss!!!!

Pretty awesome pack. Great customer service also. My first experience with icemule packs was on a camping/surf trip in the rainforest of Costa Rica. We used one to keep our beer cold and it somehow still had ice in it 3 days later. After that trip I was sold, and now I have 3 in different sizes. If you're traveling, these are way more convenient than a conventional cooler and also work great.

Boss review

I recently purchased this cooler with the intention of using it to haul food and water for my fly fishing guide service I am starting. So far I have only used it to carry some beverages to a weekend outing with some friends but the BOSS retained(some) ice and cold beers from Friday afternoon at 4:00pm until the Tuesday after. The weather was cool and cloudy most of this time so I haven&#x27;t tested it in very hot weather but I will soon see how it performs in a hot river fishing experience. The waterproof pockets have worked great. I carried ammo and magazines in the pockets and the pack rode in the bed of my truck through a 3 hour drive home in the ran and nothing was wet in the pockets. With my experience so far I would highly recommend this cooler to anyone looking for good ice retention and a sturdy but comfortable pack combination. Great job ICEMULE!

The Boss is Boss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps beer cold for a few days. The rolll down and lock system with the air valve removes all the air out of the cooler so it's just cans and ice. Zippers work great and the extra pockets are good for having your drink accessories.

Fantastic Cooler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler check off all of the boxes for an outdoor enthusiast. The “mule” is very solidly made, superb materials and quality stitching and welded seams. For a cooler it wears comfortably even on long treks, it actually has a back backing suspension. Insulation capabilities is on par with the highest end coolers in the market without sacrificing cooler capacity. The additional storage locks are greatly appreciated.

A cooler that excels!

I was always impressed with how long my Pro Coolers could keep ice, but now the Boss has blown my mind with it&#x27;s ice retention, and I&#x27;ve yet be in a scenario that reached it&#x27;s limit. With multiple waterproof pockets of all sizes, you can haul around all of your valuables, electronics, or dry goods without worry. I use to haul an IceMule with a separate dry bag for my electronics on my days fishing, and now all I need is The Boss to get the job done. Not to mention the padded shoulder straps are super comfortable, so carrying all that weight has never been so easy.

New Frontier of Cooler Bags

This ice mule is seriously a boss! If you plan on wearing this for more than a couple hours a day, try not to overfill it cause it can hold A LOT and it gets HEAVY! The build quality is great, but there are a couple things I would improve. 1. The buckles. I would swap the waist buckle with an aluminum quick release buckle cause the plastic one on mine broke. And 2. The inner lining somehow got a hole in it and now water from melted ice fills up the air cavity that's supposed to be for better insulation. Kind of a pain to have to empty it through the blow hole. Other than that it keeps everything pretty cold. I would advise filling the cooler with prechilled drinks to make everything stay cold even longer

Great, but could be better

The cooler is too big and bulky for the amount of cooler space you get. Seem overkill, not happy with the product at all. Would like to look at a different model to see if it is a better design for my needs?
