My Malti-poo has gotten use to the screen door and now we could keep the patio close and not worry about flying bugs coming in the house... We love it thx Walmart

First thing I noticed was that it wasn't square. The top slopes down at an angle. Is was fairly easy to install. Just line it up and put the two sides together and use a hammer to join the sides around the screen then cut around the openings. It closes by itself and has a magnet to keep it closed and since the magnets don't actually touch each other it's really easy to open. The color is gray. My dog uses it to come inside but hasn't used it to go outside yet. I'm sure she will. She is a 4 pound Maltese and of course she fits no problem.

Nice for a small dog or cat.

simple effective idea. make sure to really understand your cuts in your screen before making them.

if you have cats, you need this

I had my outside patio screened with Pet Screen and also installed two of these doors.Came out great. And it is made in the USA. I installed two because of several cats I take care of that live on the property when I moved in.

Great Product

This pet door was easy to install in our patio screen door. Clear instructions. Our cats have figured it out after a week. The first few days they would stand and look at it and paw at it, but after a few times of my pushing their heads into the door they realized it opens! We love it and expect it to last a long time!

Good product

Love them!  They can go in and out onto the balcony,  whenever they want. They are a great addition for all four of them.

Kitty doors

In looking for window doors for my two cats, I searched long and hard. Most doors are the sash type for windows that open up, while mine opens sideways. So I eventually settled on this because of price point.

First, it is fairly easy to put together. Line up the two halves and push together. And by "push," you really have to push. Do not use a hammer as that will break it, but be prepared to have sore fingers. This takes some effort. Then you need a razor blade or box cutter to slice the screen so that the door swings in and out. All in all, the process takes about 15 minutes. When it's done, you have a pet door in the window that still has the screen.

The problem with this for cats is that cats have claws. So when they're trying to open the door, their claws get stuck on the screen. A lot. So be prepared to need to get something for the screen to keep them from getting stuck.

All in all, good, but could have been better. Still, as a quick and easy solution, this works.

Easy, effective, good, but not great

This was to replace one just like it. We have adapted it to go in and out of our cat's feeding box made of heavier wire than screening, and it has worked well for several years- probably around 6 or so. Great place to feed the cat so the bird's don't get at his dry food! I have been very pleased with how well it held up.

Thicker pet screen it difficult to snap together.  I used a 2lb rubber mallet to snap together the door.  .when cutting screen around door make sure you cut screen all the way or door will not open fully.
Inot strong wind the door opens the magnets are not really that strong.

Door works great price.

Was easy to install in my screen door on my sun porch. Bough of my cats where use to the pet safe door with flap in my garage so I wasn't sure they would like the actual door opening from the side instead of the top but they took right to it after a few hours.
