I needed something for the Truck for overnight trips and  it keeps food and drinks cold. the cooler cools it 30 degrees below the temperature in the vehicle so on cold nights with the truck off it seems to freeze items inside the cooler. I haven't used the warming feature so unsure how that is.

Worth it for summer trips

Got this cooler for a road trip in November, we'll see how it performs. I tested it and it will cool down to about 47F in a 75F room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product but they don't last as long as they should. This is the 3rd I have purchased in about 5-6 years. They fit perfectly in my van where I need it. It's usually the interior fan that dies.

Great but doesn't last

The cooler itself works great, but the cord is very thin. I feel like it is more susceptible to damage. The cord on the older Thermoelectric Cooler cord is much thicker, more like an extension cord thickness. Having the cord attach into the top is an improvement. I am a truck driver and this cooler runs 24 hours, 6 days a week. 
The previous model has lasted five years and is still running. I bought this model to be able to carry more food without taking up too much space.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooler was a life saver for our road trip from NY to FL.  It was the perfect size for us.  Kept drinks and snacks nice and cold. You can definitely hear the fan, but wasn't annoyingly noisy.  My only complaint is getting it open.  You have to really hold onto it with two hands to get it open.  It does loosen a bit after a while.
