[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pictured is a Medium that fits very tightly at 22.5".

First, I want to say that the attached warning describes how important properly fitting this product is to the overall effectiveness and usefulness of this product. The label says, "Read this product's fitting instructions and full warning prior to use." Except I couldn't find those "fitting instructions" anywhere. Not on the product page, or with the packaging, or anywhere. 
So let me explain this for anyone considering buying this. The dimensions they give for each size must be VERY close to your head size, or it's not going to fit properly. As this product is NOT adjustable.  If you're in between a size, it's likely you're going to get a product that's either too loose and falls off or too tight and gives you a headache. This inevitably leads to the number one problem with safety equipment, people not using it. 
Absolutely get an exact measurement for your head and buy the size closest to that dimension. Example if your head is 22.5" buy a large. If your head is 22" buy a medium. If your head is 22.25, nothing is going to fit right.

Second, I'd like to mention that this product has a fairly narrow use case. It's mostly intended for soccer/fútbol where the object colliding with your head is an inflated ball. It does cover quite a bit of the dome with 360° of protection. So I'm positive it would offer more protection than wearing nothing. This is the minimalist version of headgear after all. For clumsy kids who would rather wear nothing, but their parents would rather they didn't get another concussion when they're forced to touch grass.

Materials are comparable to other quality safety equipment. Some kind of high density foam with a felt like fabric interior and a polyester type fabric exterior. The price tag on this, however, seems a bit inflated. Considering this isn't very big, but it's hard to put a price tag on safety.
