6in d c 6in l  Black starter joint from Duravent is well made for use as starter joint as well as joining a 6” Double wall Black Stove Pipe into a chimney pipe.  In my case , where the stove pipe connects to the chimney pipe,  to secure a tight fit,  adding a bit of high temp  pipe cement is useful to secure and reinforce connectivity.  High temp black pipe cement It is readily available via Ace, Walmart in store on alternatively online.
