We updated our entire kitchen in stainless steel appliances and a large double stainless steel sink. We selected modern stainless steel hardware which the insinkerator matches perfectly. We love the looks of it however we love the performance of dispensing instant hot water even more. We use our insinkerator at least 10 times each day! Our first one lasted far beyond the warranty so there was no hesitation to replace it. The replacement of the faucet was pretty simple for me as I had installed the first one. Follow the instructions and advice included in the box and you should be good for several years.

I first ordered the HOT 100 and found it defective also the ease of activating the unit was difficult for someone with Arthritic hands...
The customer service people are the best and I reordered the FGN 1100 dispenser that was compatible with the water tank I already had..
I would heartily suggest that anyone with physical hand problems to buy the FGN 1100 , it is a quality product and very easy to operate..

Excellent product

Excellent addition to any kitchen and is used daily over/over again for warming cups, extra hot clean to glasses, quickly cleaning a sticky or messy utensil. What I might have once considered a luxury, I find it a time and money saver, as well as environmentally friendly. Not more wasting water for "hot" water. Excellent for instant tea, coffees, cocoa, also.

Very Important to take to installation guy about how these can go bad & water you have! Filter changes are important! ONE has to understand this device and how much you use it & how it fits in under the sink. IT CANNOT BE PUT on AUTOPILOT ... our first one failed due to our lack of understanding and neglect!

The product is ok.  When I check for it now on your site, it now has the mention that the tank is not included.  It wasn't the case when I ordered mine.  At that price, if I had known that the tank wasn't included, I would not have ordered it as it was way too expensive without the tank. I appreciate that this was corrected for future buyers but it was too late for me.

We love this whole set-up, but the tank on the heater is made of some sort of poor material and starts leaking about every 5-6 years. This is our third water heater and we love it while it works. It does seem to us that the manufacturer could make the tank out of some material that would not break down so quickly. After all, our general household water heater was just replaced after 35 years of service without a leak and it worked well the whole time. Our plumber says that these products used to last for 25-30 years when first introduced, but that now they fail rather regularly. The faucet has failed after about 18 years, so it is better than the heater tank, though why it should start balking and not closing consistently is a mystery.

Great Product, but limited life span and expensive to replace.

If you turn on and off the faucet by pushing the handle towards the faucet, when you release the lever, it immediately turns off and doesn't drip. If you push the lever away from the faucet spigot, it can drip for a few minutes before stopping completely. Disappointing.

horrible, horrendous, don't do it.  You purchase the unit and then unbeknownst to their retailers, dealers you have to purchase the dispenser.  However, none of the colors or styles match my faucet and soap dispenser.  Never again.  Buy another brand, or you will end up with hodge podge on your countertop
