I was looking for a solid, durable and lightweight case for my 13" Macbook Pro and I'm pretty happy that I went with this hardshell case. Plus I think it's pretty stylish the pattern they used. One other thing I like is the fit especially where my wrists/palms rest on the Macbook Pro, the case sits flush with the edge so it doesn't stick out and bother me while I type.

This case is great! I have always been a fan of incase anyway but this fits my 13" MacBook Pro retina just perfect. Unlike some cases this case has a great fit, rubber feet on the bottom, air holes for ventilation on bottom and sides! It's lightweight and snaps on easily. I loved the matte softer version from a few years ago but this is a great replacement. It is a harder plastic and doesn't leave too many fingerprints and it isn't too slick like some cases. 5 stars go incase! :)

Awesome case! 5 stars!

I am very pleased with my purchase. I have tried two other companies cases and they were both difficult to put on and take off. The incase Hardshell Case for MacBook Pro Retina 13'' Dots fit perfectly. I did not have to push and pull (while hoping to not harm my laptop). As well, the colour looks great and the shell is not slick so I have a good grip on it but it is not dull either. Lastly the rubberized feet aren't stuck on there as a last minute thought. They are good sized, provide stability and are properly attached. Disclaimer - I have only had this for about 2 weeks, so maybe with time things will change. For now, however, I am pleased.

Review

For as long as I have had my MacBook I have had a case on it, what I love about this case is the coverage. While I try to take care of my computer, I still what the most protection I can get. I feel this case provides full coverage, the back side edges is the side I found that is often left exposed. As for looks I loved the color choses.

Product review

After reviewing various protective cases, I decided to go with "Incase" hardshell case. The color choices met my needs and the satin finish leaves no fingerprints . The protective case gives me piece of mind when carrying my MacBook Pro. The rubber pads on the bottom provide a non-slip grip. The case fit is just right. No issues opening or closing the lid like some other covers have caused. A must have!

Great protection

I got my case in January and now it is cracking in the corners. I never dropped the case but it looks like I did:(

Cracked Case

I got Blue Moon. A bit stronger color than I expected. However, very nice. Like in other reviews, my edges chipped too, but honestly only after I dropped my computer. The case looks really nice, but I believe the material might be better as it looks a bit fragile. Nonetheless, it saved my computer from scratches and that's something to be appreciated too. Also, I dislike the fact that material is prone to fingerprints. All in all, not bad and like all other Incase products - looks really really nice and that is why I just ordered my second case, only this time in another color.

A few years ago, I protected my MacBook Air 13 inch with a strawberry colored "hammered" Incase shell/case. I really liked that color and texture coMacbookination and wish it was available for the MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch as well. The blue is nice but it is not as flashy as the strawberry hammered case. In any event, the Incase is well made and I am confident it will serve to protect my MacBook Pro Retina 13 inch well for many years as well as adding a little zing to the appearance of the MacBook Pro.

Nice case but wish there were more colors

Had the screen replaced on my Macbook Pro Retina (2013) and the technician recommended getting a hard case for better protection. Opted to try this one. I love the look and how easily it snaps onto the Mac, the protection and how substantial it feels. But I was so bummed when, in less one month I noticed a crack on the top right corner (no, I didn't drop it or bang it into anything...), so took it off to return it and noticed the upper right corner was also cracked! My husband really liked mine and wants one for his birthday, so am giving this another chance for his sake. For my sake, I'm looking at other alternatives.

Expected better quality

I've had this case on my macbook since mid august. Ive found that the corners crack very easily and pieces of plastic chip off the case as well but apart from that I've enjoyed the case.
