Ease Of Use

Wearing Comfort

Simple transition between modes is possible.

Provides snug support, but can be restrictive for larger sizes.

May not accommodate larger users or be hard to attach solo.

I really like the Upscale customizable carrier and highly recccomend it for other baby wearers. The carrier itself has ample padding on the shoulder straps and an easy to slide back strap. I was able to get my 5 month old in securely on the first try. I am able to snap the back connector myself, and I am short and not the most flexible. The waist band was well padded and held the weight of baby comfortably and evenly. My litte one is more secure and enjoyed the ride better then the wrap style carrier I've previously used with him. I really like that once he gets bigger I can use the Upscale carrier front facing and as a back carrier. The fact that it is also machine washable is a big plus. I have received the Upscale Customizable Carrier from Infantino to facilitate my review.

Easy to use, well padded baby carrier

I have received the Upscale Customizable Carrier from Infantino to facilitate my review, but I probably would have bought it anyways. My baby is 2 months old and wearing 9 month old clothes so its been hard to find a carrier that I can adjust to fit a new born and have the support she needs. I love this carrier. When I have cinched the seat for my baby in other carriers it makes the back too short for my tall baby and not very supportive. This carrier has a slide along the waist, you can button it in place for older babies or move it in closer together for smaller babies. That's my favorite feature. I did like the head support as well. It's not a hood but its high enough to support my tall baby's head. It folds down for carrying face out. The shoulder padding was ok, nothing spectacular. There is padding in the back which may make it hot in the summer. But overall a good product.

I would buy this again

I have received the Upscale Customizable Carrier from Infantino to facilitate my review. So I LOVE this carrier. I have a few others (a moby wrap, a carrier with buckles, and a sash mei tei) and this is my favorite. More importantly my daughter loves it! I like that it is so easy to use and easy to transition from forward facing to inward facing. She likes being carried both ways in this carrier where others she doesn't like getting in them and takes some time to warm up to being okay with it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great carrier.

LOVE this carrier!

We love our carrier and my daughter LOVES it. We mostly use it when going to the grocery store. My only kinda concern is that when we had her in the front facing position.. I'm not sure if maybe she was still too small at the time but he legs started to turn a bit purple/reddish. Maybe we had her in too tight? I'm not sure but I immediately got her out. She never made any indication of discomfort but it sure scared me. Also, the straps were rubbing the inside of her elbows and that area was also quite red.. We will continue to use her carrier but I will also be making adjustments and try to see what works best for her..

Love it

I was a bit hesitant about buying this carrier since it's new on the market, and there were no reviews yet. I'm so glad I did though! It's so easy to use, lightweight, and can definitely get long term use! I love that it has the forward facing position. My daughter loves it, and both of us are so comfy while she's in it. I think the only drawback for me would be that there are no pockets. Oh well...I'm still certainly happy Infantino came out with this carrier, and at an affordable price!

A Keeper!

I really love this carrier, I think it's very comfortable and versatile for baby. I have a baby that is on the larger side and he loves being toted around in this. My BUT is for the top strap. I simply cannot buckle it if I am alone. I have tried many times, but I cannot reach! The videos make it look so simple, but in person it's like you have to be Gumby to get to the buckle. How come no else has noticed this? Infantino, do you have a solution?! I can't always be with someone to clip me in!

I really like this carrier. It's well made and versatile. BUT I cannot clip that back strap alone! In the video is looks so simple, but I CANNOT reach it! It's really frustrating because I am usually alone with my son when I want to wear it! Am I missing something Infantino?!

Really like...BUT

I received the upscale customizable carrier for review. This is one of the better carriers I've tried, even though I had some problem. This is the only one I have found for bigger people. My husband has never been able to carry our daughter because the straps couldn't reach around him. With the "Upscale" this wasn't a problem at all (we even had extra room). We did run into a problem while using the carrier the first time while at our local flea market.(let me preface by saying this company has gone above and beyond, contacting me several time to make sure it doesn't happen again.) While in the face out position it rubbed my daughters chin raw. She never indicated that it bothered her even days later when it was still irritated. I immediately contacted the company and they handled it the best I've seen. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend even though I had a bad experience. I believe I just had a bad "apple".

Great product

This does not work well with newborns as it says. :(
My son is almost 2 months old, 9.5lbs. 
It feels like hes going to fall out the sides of the carrier. There is only a strap on both sides that are not very wide. It does nothing to support the upper torso.
 The only way to make him feel somewhat secure is to pull the side straps as tight as possible (with in reason) and tilting his head to the side for air. Which made him very uncomfortable for obvious reasons. 
There are leg straps but does nothing but keep his lower half in place.
May work well for babies who can sit in it facing forward who have better upper body strength but id still worry they may fall out the sides?
I'll be returning it to look for one with some kind of side wall support.
