This gate is a safe way to protecy your children from falling down the steps,  and your whole family, snd guests from tripping over a bottom bar like most other gates I've seen.  This gate has NO BOTTOM BAR to have to step over and therefore you wont trip and fall down the steps which is why your using the gate in the first place to protect you from falling down the steps 😉

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had done a lot of research on the type of gate that would be safest to put at the top of the stairs. I didn't want a tension mounted, but rather something I could install into the wall studs, just like this one. It took a bit to install it (but I think that was because of where I installed in it my home). This thing is not going anywhere. It's secure and does its job well. Gives me piece of mind that we'll avoid any falls down the stairs.
