Can produce excellent foam, but may be prone to inconsistency.

Heating performance can be unreliable and may stop working over time.

Simple operation requires minimal effort.

Well, it is never going to produce a nice thick stiff foam like u get with a cappuchino made by a barrista.  Trust me I have tried quite a few combinations and it just doesnt have the frothing power to do it.   But it does produce a very nice loose foam which mixes until coffee divinely for a nice creamy finish and sometime it will give you foam that will sit on the surface for a little while. The heated milk feature is very nice as well.  I would say it truly enhances my coffee drinking experience and you can beat the price or the convenient pouring carafe.  Plus it is a super easy clean.  A solid purchase and good value for the dollar.

This product rules! My boss got a name brand one that cost $80 bucks at work it was lovely and I wanted one but more practical costing. Incoming instapot brand! I was blown away with results! I get Oregon Chai Sugar Free Chai Concentrate and milk and put it in this for the heating setting and it heats up my chai lattes and mixes them with a dab of whipped on top. It has been amazing! Now I am no longer buying chai lattes everyday instead making them at home. It literally takes less than 3 mins to make.

Fast and simple

It is easy to use and easy to clean. IIs for personal cup, if you want to do more  you need to do it one by one, the good part is that cleans easily and heat quick, so, you don't need to wait a lot. I use it for the milk not only to foam you can just heat the milk or water, make milk tea or hot chocolate  just heating the milk and adding the  matcha or chocolate mix powder and and the foaming attachment work a bit slow just to mix your drink . Quick and easy, do not overfill if you don't want to clean a mess, always to the line  and everything is gonna be fine, like always says my teenage daughter. This little frother is good for a gift too. 
Kids friendly, with adult supervision but just because of the electrical cord use  only.

Love this  IP frother

I love having it for the morning beverages! Froth is nice and firm , gets an A .  Not super-easy to clean; milk tends to “cook” a little on the bottom of the vessel but not hard to scrub off if you use scratch-free sponge.  My daughter has a frother that has a  pot that removes from the machine and is even dishwasher safe, and I've never seen the milk burn/stick to the bottom. But that's like a $100 machine she was gifted, so, short of that, I'd say this frother is wonderful! My best friend told me, “sounds like a First World problem to me”. 😉

Good for the money

I like the frother but it's kinda big. The one thing I do not care for is you cannot put it in the dishwasher. So that's kind of a pain in the neck. Other than that, it is quiet and does a great job making foam. Like a lot of foam. It's a great frother!

Good frother

The amount of foam this Instant Pot milk steamer puts out is just what I want.  What I didn't expect was how messy it can get if I turn my back on it.  It whips up the foam quickly for hot or cold drinks.  However, be prepared to do some cleanup.  The cover/lid doesn't prevent the foam from  spilling out onto the counter top and I'm learning to keep the paper towels nearby when I use it.  Cleaning up the spills doesn't happen every time I use it and that is why I will keep the machine.  It makes great foam and, I guess I will just have to work on calibrating how much milk I need to put in it.

I was impressed by a frother my mom had, so I decided to try the Instant Frother. It worked great at first, but within a week the buttons started responding intermittently. The frother performs well when you can get it to work, and it warms liquids efficiently. It also has the ability to chill liquids, though we haven't tried that feature yet. We even discovered a parenting hack, warming milk in the frother is much faster than using a bottle warmer.

Works Well Sometimes

It heated the milk perfectly took about 4-5 minutes but when you try and do a thick froth and I only put half the amount in (I DID NOT MAX IT OUT) it started having milk come out of every part of the top all over my counter .. I think the seal is no good on the top..

When it works, it is great. But these things stop working in a matter of weeks or months. The first one stopped working in less than two months of once daily use. Easy Pot support required over a week of badgering before they honored their warranty and sent a replacement. The replacement has broken in about the same time frame as the first. Very poor quality/reliability. I would not waste money on this.

Not the best frother. Foam is either too runny or too light. I've used whole, oat and half and half. None of them have given me a froth like my old frother. Also I notice it holds the smell of the milk if I leave it just for a couple hours. So terrible.

Wouldn't recommend or purchase again.
