For Slow Cookers

Made with solid build and long-lasting components.

Made with stainless steel and easy to clean.

Fits 6-qt and 8-qt instant pot models securely.

Allows for accessible pressure and slow cooking tasks.

We used it for slow cooking on the 3L Instant Pot. It was excellent, the meal cooked perfectly, and you could see what was going on in the pot without removing the lid. Also, it didn't loose much liquid.

Excellent Lid for Slow Cooking

Instant Brands EMEA

The lid was made for our 8 quart Instant Pot. There is no surprise that it fits well and is useful when using the Instant Pot as a slow cooker. A vent stops it from lifting when the food is cooking.

Glass lid allows food to be seen & retains liquid

Absolutely perfect! This little addition turns my 8 qt. Instant Pot from a pressure cooker and air fryer to a slow cooker.

Used it the day it came in!

I bought this a while back and it is great. I have used my pot on the stove top to reheat something and it's been a great investment.

Glass Cover - The Best

Instant Pot US

This was one of my Best Buy's. When using my instant pot for cooking other than pressure function this lid makes the contents visible and cover is easy on and off. I use this cover when using the slow cooker function and it's great to have easy access to the contents rather than using the pressure lid.

Nice clear glass vented lid excellent for slow cooking!

The first time using my Instant Pot I was saute'ing outside so finding this the next day was perfect and although it is more "stuff" in the kitchen it is a very useful addition to the Instant Pot inventory. This is perfect for any cooking where you don't need the pressure lid on. If you use your Instant Pot for any saute'ing or similar I would highly recommend this.I have an Instant Pot 8qt "Duo Evo Plus 80".

Straight forward, lid for 8qt Instant Pot

Lets me use the saute function of the instant pot with minimal mess. Being able to view the cooking process is nice. The construction is ideal and the vent hole is the deal changer from my old makeshift glass lid that would just rattle. I put this on and it enhances the cooking by trapping that heat and steam in saute and in warming mode.

Makes sauteing in the instant pot mess free!

I bought this item to replace a glass lid that came with a large soup/gumbo pot ... it had shattered into a thousand pieces when it hit the tile floor. I love this replacement lid because if you didn't know it didn't come with the pot, you would never guess that it didn't. It fits perfectly and even has a vent hole like my original lid had. I would buy this item again.

Well made - love the vent hole

The lid is pretty standard. The inner-groove, between the glass and the lid's mouth, could be difficult to clean once food/seasoning(s) gets stuck in-between. The handle doesn't seem to get too hot, but the glass/fiberglass definitely will.It really helped in a pinch when I lost the silicone cap for the pressure cooker lid (using the steam function, according to manual). Although, the chicken I tried to "pressure cooked did seem a lil' dry (due to the overall different function - but the experimental cooking had to go on!). So, overcooking proteins seem pretty easy (using the same time suggestions for the pressure cooker function â€" since I didn't want to chance undercooking the chicken). It would probably be better for rice/grains or even beans (although, I'd assume beans would take much longer to become tender). Also, I'd assume that nthe steam that vents from the lid could cause some mess/stains to surfaces around â€" depending on the seasoning being used (e.g., curry or turmeric). However, a vent hole is necessary or you'll have the lid bubbling and splashing liquid around the machine.Overall, any ordinary pot lid that fits on the pot (mine is the duo air crisp + pressure cooker, 8qt variant) could do this product's job, but I would definitely want to use a manufacturer-approved accessory during the manufacturer warranty period (just to be safe - y'know?).Nonetheless, it's a good buy at about $15 dollars or so but anything over $25-$30+ is a bit of a stretch (like the stainless & ceramic inner pots that vary in price over time).Enjoy and happy cooking!

Helps when your pressure cooker lid is on the sidelines..

I only gave it 3 stars because there are NO instructions either in the box or inside that explain when I can use it and with which settings. Otherwise it's beautiful!

Love it but when do I use it?

Instant Pot 8 Quart Pressure Cooker Glass Lid tempered glass replacement with steam vent, stainless-steel rim and handle, transparent top for clear viewing while slow-cooking and sautéing; genuine Instant Pot accessory, dishwasher safe and oven-safe to 428°F (220°C), often used as a cover for finishing dishes in the oven.
