The reason I give this a higher rating is because this is the second time I have purchased this for myself and my sister a gift she was so excited about it I told her I know she will love it she's that kind of person she doesn't cook much and I told her this will give her another out put on this product it's so convenient and good for the price and you don't have to spend in the kitchen all day cooking and the size of the pot is just right you will not be disappointed if you decide to buy one even if for you are gift for a nice house warming

I chose this pressure cooker because it does not have a coated pot. It is all metal, stainless steel. I do not like the non-stick chemicals like Teflon. I know microscopic pieces of steel are not a health hazard. My wife loves cooking with it. Food is done WAY faster!

Very Satisfied Customer

I actually owned a Power XL when they first came out and finally had to retire it.  This is a staple in my kitchen... especially for spaghetti, stews, roasts,soups, etc.

Wanted to buy an Instant Pot for a long time and thrilled with it so far. I make my own dog food and this device can cook a lot of the ingredients in three minutes and at one time. Loving it so far and hope to learn to make all types of things in it.

Glad I finally bought one

Could not live without it.  Youtube has many helpful hints and recipes.   I have a glass lid that use on it after take pressure top off.  Also got a plastic lid to go on inner pot to store in refrigerator.  Great cooking device.  15 bean soup is excellent with this pressure pot and youtube cooking advice.  Quick easy painless.

I'm late to the game but this thing is a game changer for dinner prep and cooking. I've used it a handful of times now and the meat is so tender. Also cooks fast. There's so many settings that I still need to learn but so far have only used the poultry setting

Does good at making pulled pork or beef not as good quality as my older pot of the same manufacturer and model but that's 15 years old

Keep it hot

It's a lot more work to clean the pot lid than I realized. More than my old Presto pressure cooker, and a lot more than my scratched Aroma rice cooker that I bought the Instant Pot to replace, or than the crock pots I also thought this would replace. There are tiny parts easily lost and a gasket that's tricky to remove and reseat. I wouldn't buy it if I had it to do over, but now that I own it I'll use it. Sometimes. Like, for pulled pork and pot roasts.
Plus, it's bulky and the lid blocks my cupboard doors when I rest it on its side as designed. I may end up buying another $20 rice cooker as well.

More work to clean than the appliances it replaces

this item is shipped by a third-party party. they offered me upgradation to 8qt instead of 6qt since the item stack is over. i agreed, and it got shipped. but the product came in a normal cardboard box and looks like that item is refurbished or used by others. also, i want a stainless steel item inside ,but the specifications are not the same as what i ordered for 6qt. i wanted to retun it, but they are not agreeing to take it back and refund my amount.  i am highly disappointed with walmart for  wasting my money, time, and effort.

Bad quality product received in normal cardboard

I just bought it only one month. But it is broken. Power doesn't come. So much disappointed. In the picture it was showing auto venting but in real its not. Not gonna buy anything from here. But i was thinking it's okay. But now after one month it stopped working 😡😡
