The best

Instant Pot US

I've been using the Instant Pot Duo Plus 8QT for a few weeks now, and it's become one of my most-used kitchen appliances. The large 8-quart size is perfect for family meals or meal prepping for the week. It handles everything from soups and stews to rice and yogurt without a problem. I love that it cuts cooking time way down while still producing tender, flavorful food. The interface is simple to use, and the multiple functions mean I can replace several other small appliances. Cleanup is also quick — the stainless steel pot comes out spotless after a rinse. The only downside is the lid takes a little getting used to, but once you learn the routine, it's easy. Overall, an excellent purchase that makes weeknight cooking stress-free.

Makes Cooking Faster, Easier, and Actually Fun

This pot is the perfect size for our family of three. It doesn't take up a ton of room on the counter, but is big enough to cook a meal in. There are so many recipes available online for things I never thought you could make so quickly. It makes weeknight dinners a breeze, we can come home and have dinner ready in 20 minutes.

Makes cooking quick and easy

This has a big safety improvement on the 3 litre instant pot, especially for the easy  pressure release button at the front which keeps hands away from the pressure valve. The shallow cooking pot is much better for sautéing vegetables and meat pre pressure cooking. Touch controls are simple to use.  It would be good to have a recipe book included, rather than all online.

It has been used a lot for soups, mains, cakes  dry successfully.

I would like to be able to buy a non stick inner pot.

I enjoy using it and it is very energy efficient, costing pence to produce a main meal, such as risotto in 10 to 15 minutes with fresh ingredients for 2 to 4 people.

I would buy again and recommend.

Instant Brands EMEA

This is a must add on to your kitchen. The size is perfect to use it alone or to complement your full size instant pot. I use it to pressure cook my meat for Ropa Vieja! It worked incredible. This is the type of tool that you definitely need both sizes. One for the rice and one for the meat. Just perfect.

LOVE IT!

I used to cook a lot, research and make new recipes, and host dinner parties. But since my son was born (he's 2) I scarcely have time to fix myself a sandwich. Enter Instant Pot! I hadn't tried pressure cooking before, but heard it could substantially reduce cook time. I decided to test out a favorite pork stew recipe - half in the new Instant Pot (20min) and half in my trusty slow cooker (12 hours on high). The results were delicious, and the flavor and texture of the 2 versions were nearly identical, with the Instant Pot reserving just a little more liquid (not a bad thing). Massive time savings and convenience from the Instant Pop pressure cooking mode! The only hitch was sauté mode (hence 4 stars not 5).The lid locking functionality (designed to slowly release steam) made it really hard to cover and uncover to check the contents. The batch I made browning pork and onions in my cast iron skillet was faster to prep and the browned meat was tastier with a better sear. Next time I'll use skillet to sauté and Instant Pot to pressure cook. I'm also excited to try Thanksgiving sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes in the Instant Pot.

Great time saver for stew

I have tried a couple other pressure cookers over the years but the Insta Pot by far is my favorite. As a busy family always on the go the Insta Pot allows me to make a good complete dinner on minimal time. It doesn't take up to much counter space so I leave mine out year around. The directions are clear and precise. Unlike other pressure cookers the Insta Pot has the quick release value in the front so you are not reaching around and burning yourself. My only con about this product is that food does stick in the stainless steel pot so make sure you oil or butter it up before cooking rice and or pasta. After a lot of elbow grease I was able to get it looking brand new again.

Perfect for a busy family

So, I'm still undecided on if I love this or not. This is the first time I've ever used an instant pot, so it was a little overwhelming for me. I did a little trial and error on some things trying to figure out how to use it correctly and efficiently. One, this thing is HUGE. I am still shocked at how big and bulky it is. I didn't think it was going to be as big as it was. Great for my very large family, but wow! 😂 I loved that I could use frozen meat to speed up the process of cooking. With that being said, everything I read about using frozen meat, said it should only take 15-20 minutes more on cooking. Mine did not. I had to cook it probably an extra 50 minutes. Thank god I didn't have to be anywhere at a certain time, or I would have been running through a drive through. When I used thawed meat another time, it was about the accurate time it should have been to cook. I do feel like there are a few more steps to using an instant pot vs a crockpot  with some of the meals that I made. I didn't like that aspect, as I was hoping it would have sped up my prep and cooking time, but I don't feel as it did. I'm going to keep giving this a chance, as there are alot of meals that I found that seem to be better suited with the instant pot. I also really like that instant pot has there own app for the various meals you can make with it. That is super helpful!

Still undecided

The product arrive in great condition and in a timely manner. The quality of the product is high, while the interface is easy to use. I am able to make soup much more easily than before. However my pressure valve keep leaking air during pressure cook and keep warm, and I couldnt easy find out how to solve this problem. The demonstration video online/ on youtube could be a bit more detailed, like include more cooking process/actual usage and how the pot is suppose to behave while in operation.

Worthy addition to the kitchen; need troubleshooting

The preheating setting stayed on for a quite a very long time and that's what really disappointed me. Not sure why spots stayed on my pot even after washing it but other than that the heating setting work fine and cooks well. I'll be using it very often

I ordered this product specifically for making yoghurt.

Despite trying with six or seven different types of milk, I was unable to make it work.

We also tried making rice a few times, but it always stuck to the bottom and burned.

We are not at all satisfied with the product and would like to request your assistance in understanding the process for returning it.
