This is so easy..  I hated cooking rice because you have to almost stand right over it to make sure it doesnt boil over, or run dry and burn bottom of pan..  You just put in the water and rice, get it staryed and forget it till time is up... One of the best buys I ever made..

Use this constantly.

LOVE THIS! Loving that it can go in the dishwasher, and that the inner surface looks tougher than my old rice cooker - it peeled away. Loving the options for brown rice and quinoa.  So far I've only used it for white rice, but it turned out lighter and fluffier than my old rice cooker. I also love the last 10 minute countdown display and the nice ding at the end.  Just wish it had an additional lid, so that when you remove the inner cooker part, you can keep the cooked rice warm at the table.

Love it

Great gadget. Use it everyday for one thing or another.  It has the perfect size for 2 cups of dry rice or less. The max you can make is 3 cups dry but the rice is a bit dry on the top but everything under that is perfect. Doesn't take up much counter space and its super easy to clean.

Awesome

Making rice has always been a chore for me to get it just right. I make a lot of stir-fry and getting the rice tender, but firm without being sticky/wet isn't easy on the stove. This appliance makes it simple; put it in, turn it on, and forget about it. I can also add some ingredients (like onion, carrot, etc) with the rice, and it comes out just right. I had two other rice cookers that I gave away because they just didn't consistently make the rice the way I liked it, and were not easy to clean (the main reason). This cooker is basically rinse and dry. Love it!

Perfect Rice

Omigosh! This pot is so great that I leave it on my counter because I use it every single day. I bought one for everyone in my family for Christmas, and they LOVE it too! It makes perfect white rice, brown rice, and quinoa based on the weight the pot senses in the pot. It steams perfectly. And I make the best oatmeal of my life in it. I am soooo glad I bought this.

It's perfect.

The only appliance I use all the time! It's been almost a year since I have it and it still works for me in cooking rice perfectly. I use to cook rice the old fashioned way, but now , this has been my new kitchen helper. There's a steamer to cook in my vegetable along with it and or warm up a cooked chicken leg! My lazy way to cook supper!

Meal in one pot

this is the best rice cooker i've ever had. cooks fast. nothing sticks in the non stick pot. a great buy!

My 20 year old rice cooker bit the dust and I needed a replacement.  I own an instant pot, but didn't care for the way rice came out of it and when I'm cooking my meal in the instant pot, I wanted a second machine for rice.  I also wanted a smaller machine since my family eats grain in small portions.

The machine is easy to use, but has very few settings.  I have found that the brown rice and wild rice mixes we prefer turn out fluffy and light in this machine.  My husband is beyond pleased.  I'm sure white rice would turn out fine in it too.  My only quibble is that the lid is locked to the top and the lid is difficult to clean.  The bowl is non-stick and cleans up well.  We like the machine and I feel that I could recommend it to others looking for a small, inexpensive rice cooker.  It is a step up from the little metal ones I see in the import shops.

Misleading! Not 8-cups rice cooker! If you're looking to replace because u cook more rice then this is not it! I'm disappointed but I'll keep it since we need one asap
