easy set up and so far seems like a good quality. the pump has pre-set number of hours for you to run it daily and so far it has been working as it should! super happy with this purchase so far i will update after this summer

This is the first pool Ive purchased and Im soooo glad I did! I live in AZ and needed something to cool me down when it gets 107+ degrees. So here's what you need if you're not quite sure what to buy in addition to the pool:

Pool vacuum
Pool net
Chlorine dispenser
Chlorine tablets (1" are the ones I like to use)
Shock treatment
Test strips
Extra filter (It already comes with one, but this comes handy)

Thats the basic pretty much, unless you buy like a Krystal salt filter kinda thing. You can buy all this stuff from walmart.

Tips:

-Don't let the chlorine tablets sink and dissolve to the bottom of the pool or it will bleach your liner and you'll have a big white ugly spot.

-Take out all the wrinkles at the bottom of the liner when you start filling up the pool and its at like 2" full.

-You're most likely going to kneel on the pool at one point or another so make sure you put something under the pool before filling that has some cushion, even some thick old blankets will work.

And last, BUY IT!! You won't regret it!! ^_^

I am 61 years old and wanted to enjoy a pool in my own backyard. I set this pool up in under one hour, all by myself, very easy to set up, the only thing I did not know was that the smaller Metal bars were inside the bigger metal bars. So I thought I was missing 10 pieces. It was an embarrassing moment, but thought I would share just in case somebody thinks they're missing pieces as well. no issues at all, I have enjoyed this pool immensely over the past couple weeks. It's Money well spent !

Easy Breezy

I bought this Intex to replace a Summer Escapes pool. I had the Summer Escapes one year and was unable to adequately patch small holes in the flimsy liner. The liner on the Intex seems thicker and a bit more durable. In addition, the motor on the Intex appears more powerful and runs much quieter. I easily set this pool up by myself in a little over an hour. I used site-to-store as the delivery method and was really pleased with Walmart's service. It's a great little pool--doesn't take up much room, yet is deep enough to dunk under in and cool off. For $100, it's a pretty good deal.

Simple & Refreshing

I had ﻿the quick set pool of ﻿the same dimensions last year but I think a cat popped ﻿the top ring and we couldn't find ﻿the leak so when I saw this one with a metal frame and a filter included I thought I might try it out. Well my husband got it set up and I was flbergasted how big and nice it was. Impressive for such a good price. My kids got home today from school and were so happy to that ﻿the 10'*30" inch intex pool that has ﻿the metal frame seems so much better since owning ﻿the quick set.this brand of pool I'm reviewing is by intex. Not summer escapes. We are gonna have a great summer thanks to this purchase ;)

good for a starter pool that is an awesome deal...

I would not suggest these pools for someone that isn't willing to take the time to clean them. They need water treatment to keep the green out and a net to get out all the little leaves/stuff the kids track in with there feet.
My family doesn't want to deal with the regular inground pool maintenence and time and $ year after year. So this pool runs about $100 so we buy a new one every year. We do have to clean it daily when the kids go in. I know it comes with a filter but it's doesn't do much. We buy the shock that walmart sells and put about a quarter bag in every few days. It keeps the green out. We also have to wash out the filter every couple days. But for the price, convenence and the fun it brings to my family on these hot California summers, it's well worth every penny and time spent keeping it clean. Good luck.

A great pool for the kids. We buy new every year.

I purchased this pool as a means of exercise and to cool off after mowing the lawn. The assembly was not difficult but would have been much easier, of course, with a second pair of hands. But it's not that difficult at all to put together by yourself - it just takes a little patience. Take your time, follow the directions exactly as instructed, and you will be pleasantly surprised how relatively easy it all comes together. I'm a petite 61 year old woman and managed the assembly without much difficulty at all. I would say that the most important part of the assembly is to make certain you smooth out the liner to get the wrinkles out before filling, and to give the poles one final check to make sure they are as straight as possible before filling. I walked around the pool as it was filling making adjustments here and there to the poles to make certain they remain straight all the way around. You also want the liner to have even spacing around the top rails. This will all make sense once you begin the assembly process. There is a video included in the packing as well so no worries. I clean the filter every two days using the hose nozzle and reuse and keep two small chlorine tabs in the floater. To save a little money, you can make your own skimmer to keep the particles and small debris out by covering an old tennis racket with a pair of panty hose cut to slip over the racket. Just slip it over the racket, twist it around the back to tighten and tie in a knot. Ha! :-) Works GREAT and removes teeny tiny particles as well!! The pool is roomy enough for a couple of floating chairs if you just want to relax. I'm using mine primarily for exercising using water resistance and it's perfect for that!! This is a nice little pool which is surprisingly roomier than expected and we are truly getting a lot of enjoyment out of it.

A good value for the amount of enjoyment

For the money, this is a good little pool. There is enough room for two adults, and three toddlers to play in it, but it's not too deep for the kids to be able to touch. The filter is slightly lacking in cleaning ability. That's what a net is for though. They definitely mean it when they say put it on very level ground, because it will tip in a heartbeat if you don't.

Meets expectations

I upgraded this year from the 10'X30" easy set I had last year. Definitely worth the extra few bucks. Feels very solid, only had it up for a week, but I believe it will hold up quite well. One advice I have to give, the clips that hold the horizontal beams together, tend to pop out quite easily (at least while assembling), so I used tie wraps to hold them in place. If you don't want the expense of a full sized pool, and want something better than any inflatable type product, this is a great choice for creating a cool fun place to hang out during the hot summer, kids will love it, and several adults can fit comfortably inside and chill out. Would definitely recommend or purchase again!

Great Value!

We had a larger pool made by the same company for many years. We never once took it down or drained it completely in the winter. We bought it used, and it held up year after year, and its still going strong at it's new home with it's new owners. We decided to downsize, because we are not home enough in the summer to try to keep up with the care of a larger pool. This one is perfect for what we use it for. A "cool tub" if you will. Great size just to sit in on a hot summer day with a couple of cocktails. The only complaint I have with any of these metal framed pools, is that they ALL should come with the skimmer accessory. It makes ALL the difference in how clean your pool stays. We are very happy with the pool, and would suggest it to others looking for a small back yard pool oasis.

Great easy-to-care-for size.

I'm glad I've had this pool in the past because I had to use parts from last years pool that had to be trashed because of to many leaks. The clips that hold the frame together did not lock in. I used the clips from the pool I purchased three years ago. There were no hose claps in the b box, .Said they were included in the parts list. And the first application of chlorinator bleached the bottom of the pool. I was happy with the last purchase of this pool and that's why I ordered the same one. The last one lasted me three years which I thought was good but I cant see this one lasting quite as long.
