We love these pools and because we maintain them very well we are able to extend their life longer than the recommended time.  Setting them up does take time and effort, making sure the ground beneath them is clear of pebbles, etc. and it is level.  We rake and pick out stones and debris, then use sand to level, then lay a parge tarp over the area.  THEN we can start setting up the pool.  The chemicals are expensive, but chemicals for any pool are expensive.   My guess is we spend two days on set-up, but not full days.   We do take it down for the winter.  We have been doing this probably over 20 years.  We just bought another one for next spring and are guessing it will be our last one, if it lasts long enough, because we are seniors now and of course it is getting harder for us to get in and out of it.  We have a pool "table" where we put our snacks, sunscreen, books, and towels.  We have an umbrella so we aren't in the direct sun.  We use the pool for relaxation and also we do pool exercising.   We do wish the pool was made of recyclable material because we feel guilty about what goes in the landfill.

This pool was great for the summer! Easy to set up, maintain, and take down now that it's getting cooler.
The pump and filter are completely inadequate, plan on spending just as much if not more on a quality filter and pump. We did salt water and it was SO EASY!

Great Pool!!

A great value in above ground pools.  Easy to setup and, aside from pool chemicals and a skimmer, comes with everything you need to start enjoying it.  Budget at least 2-3 hours to setup if you've never set an Intex pool up before; start with the basic pool and while that fills you can setup the filter and ladder.  The pool cover is easily the worst part of the kit, plan on getting something a little better as the pack in is prone to either fall in or tear.

A great value for a whole lot of pool.

Well it's only been a week since we set the pool up, but my Grandchildren Love it.
My husband purchased a floating chlorine tablet dispenser. He has been very impressed with it as well as the pump and filtration system. The appearance of the pool is very nice!

Very easy to assemble with two people. Follow the instructions and you shouldn't have an issue. I would recommend either sand or a cushioned mat under the pool for some comfort on your feet.

Just what the kids needed for the summer!

The pool Arrived a day later than expected, but it was such an easy set up. It came with a ladder. pool cover and ground cover which were not expected. Everything involved with the pool set up was included. We couldn't be happier with it.

We've only had this pool for a week. I've seen bad reviews about the pump, so far it's been great. Pool has been a great addition to our backyard, pool comes with a latter, tarp and a cover.

I actually purchased as a replacement for the pool we have now, the sale price was excellent, we had this same pool at a house we used to own and it was excellent.

the pool is great! my son has been in it everyday since we got it! it is very easy to set up, but you definitely need two people to do it. we purchased a larger filter/pump 2500gph and also bought two hose adapters to make it fit. you dont have to buy multiple extra parts to make it work,  as the instructions are a little misleading/not clear.  we are happy,  just wish the hoses/adapters were more sturdy and or better quality.

Great Pool!

After the winter, we set up the swimming pool for second time. The swimming pool is leaking everywhere from the bottom. We stored it very carefully. INTEX isnt an eco-friendly company at all. Now I have to throw away all that plastic with lots of wasted money. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
