This cover floats on the surface of the water and reduces water evaporation by 95 percent. It also uses the natural power of the sun to warm your pool water. 

Including several great tools, the INTEX Deluxe Maintenance Kit keeps your pool water looking crystal clear. Maintenance is a part of every swimming pool and getting the right tools for the job cuts down on time spent cleaning. Using your existing filter pump, the included vacuum sucks debris from the pool floor. The deluxe skimmer collects floating debris while the leaf rake is great for skimming anything that is missed. The cover works great and the accessories are good but there's no instructions on how to connect the vacuum to the filter, we checked YouTube without much success. So that's pretty much useless so far.

The Intex "thermal blanket" lasted less than 4 months.  The bubbles on half the cover deteriorated and separated creating a mess of little floating dots that took days to clean up.   One half seemed OK but the other half was definitely defective.   (see photo)  I could NOT recommend this product.
