I have been putting up Coleman and Intex pools for over ten years now and I can say that this one is of the highest quality. I can't find a single thing to gripe about. Worth the extra cost, even better value when you get it on sale.

It's a great size we have had about 10 adults in the pool and people still had space among the floats. It was easy to set up but does multiple people. Fill up took about 10-12 hours to complete. The sand filter is amazing and keeps the water crystal clear .So worth it can't wait for it to get hot again to get back in.

Had a leak when we first put it up, but reached out to the seller and they responded quickly. Problem fixed, and I am very satisfied with the pool.

Very good very tough love the stairs and the sand filter is awesome this is my 4th above ground pool and this one in much better quality than the previous ones

Love it!

The pool is beautiful! But came with a pin hole leak in the side. But they were quick to supply a new liner. It came within days. But I love the pool. Lots of fun! Ladder not that sturdy.

Intex Ultra XTR Pool

The pool set up wasn't bad.  We've set up 3 pools in the past and this one was no different.  It took 4 of us working together aprox 45 minutes from start to ready to add water.  The design seems good and material seems quality.  My issue is with the ladder that came with the pool.  It states the weight limit is 300 lbs.  So far everyone who has used this pool has been under 200 lbs and the ladder is unstable.  It's wobbly and not sturdy at all.  The rungs feel like they will give at any moment under our feet.  The ladder is key to enjoying this pool because it's the way in and out.  My 11 yr old granddaughter won't swim with us because the ladder scares her.  We have ordered a new ladder with a higher weight limit, so we're hoping that helps with stability and strength.  Overall this was a great purchase, I just with we didn't have to spend the extra money to get a good quality ladder.

Pool is great, but the Ladder is junk!

set up was easy. took an hour to actually set the pool up. we rototilled the ground. bought a pool pad. placed bricks under the legs. 

only con is the liner has multiple holes in it… that i noticed 1 day after filling it up. not from damage that happened after opening, the holes are where the liner was folded and weakened in the package. 

contacted the seller and walmart, both of them can not locate my order to fix my issue. 

had to buy vinyl and weather proof bonding glue to fix the holes that i could see. pretty sure there are more on the bottom that i am unable to get to without disassembling and emptying the pool. 

irritating that i spent $1200 on a leaking pool and the sellers can not help with my issue with the product.

leaking liner

Pool overpriced for poor quality. Used the “better” pool filter for 2 days and the pump motor stopped working.  Manufacturer not responsive to my issues. I owned 2 other Intex pools and had no issues. This pool is a 18X52 Ultra XTR by Intex, sold by Walmart. Paid $2000 plus taxes and now I have to purchase a filtering system in order to use the new pool.

Beware of very cheaply built filter system!

Set up was not too hard. It requires two moderately strong people as the liner is very heavy. As it began to fill up I noticed water streaming out of a hole in the side! It has what appears to be a defect in the liner about halfway up the side. There are creases all over the outside of the liner that appear to be defects also. They look very thin as if they will also turn into holes like this one. The liner is clearly defective. I paid over $1500 for something that didnt last one day. My kids were so excited and have waited for months to swim in their pool and now it has a hole. I have only filled it half way but I imagine if I filled it to the top, those other creases would leak because they look so thin. I expected much more out of an Intex product than this. Total waste of money and my kids are so disappointed. I do not recommend.

Buyer Beware! Defective Liner!
