Designed for Intex 24-foot and 18-foot Easy Set pools, Frame Set pools, Ellipse Oval pools, Rectangular Frame pools and similar sized swimming pools from other manufacturers such as Sand-n-Sun and Aqua-Leisure.

It features a built-in automatic timer that allows you to set a daily cleaning cycle convenient to your busy schedule. For added protection, this model features a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) which prevents circuit overloads. Your pump will shut off automatically if the electrical current is exposed to water. It uses Type B filter cartridges (29005E) which should be changed every couple of weeks.

Ease Of Installation

LOVE LOVE LOVE !!! The one that came with the Intex 18' Round pool was horrible. No power.
My pool got SO green and had so much debri (tiny like dust. we have a Dolphin vacuum that is AWESOME for picking up leaves and sticks but blows the dust out through the screen) on the bottom of the pool that just blows around. I finally had to run my pump all day for 2 days, cleaning out the filter EVERY 1/2 HOUR for 2 days. Finally cleaned of debris. Then we bought this one and it is SO powerful, filters everything !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this pump as an upgrade from what came with our pool. Our pool had a skimmer filter. We left the skimmer on it but ran the hose from the skimmer to the new pump and another hose from the pump to the inlet valve. It works 1000 times better. You can.actually see the debris sucking into the skimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small intex pool that we set up seasonly. Since it is left up all summer, and a few extra weeks before and after, it is imperative that we have proper ventilation and cleanliness in the pool. This is the pump we've been looking for to help us maintain a clean, safe space for our kids to swim! We did have to buy a small tube connector so that it fit our existing frame. But other than that, it's great!
