Right off the bat we could tell that the quality of this pool was much better than the previous Intex pools we have had, not that we were unsatisfied with those at all but this one is the best in quality. The frame is much better made and seems sturdier. Also with less exposed metal it will be much better for the Intex salt chlorinator we bought. The liner seems like the same quality but a different color. All their liners are nice and thick and work well with the frame set up. This is after a liner above ground pool just not with the metal sides put on. Very nice and innovative way to design an above ground pool. Obviously the pools with the less fancy metal poles would not be a good choice with the saltwater becaused it would rust but the salt chlorinator is the way to go. No more trips to buy chlorine! After putting up the frame and smoothing all the wrinkles out this pool was easy to level with sand under the poles then we put a level all along going around the top to make sure and eyeball it from across the other side. Then as we filled it we adjusted the strap going around the side to make sure it's stays centered in the middle. Went up like a dream. Three nice hot days with the solar cover on and already 85-90 degrees! We keep the solar cover on at night to hold the heat in. I don't like to get a cold shock getting into the pool so it's perfect for me. We are using our previous high capacity pump that takes the large B filters instead of using the sand pump/filter that came with it. The thought of backwashing weekly does not appeal to us but mostly we just aren't into learning too use new equipment right now. Maybe next year we'll give it a chance. We also bought an affordable Intex rechargable stick vacuum to pick up debris on the pool bottom which works great. If like us you are using the saltwater make sure to get a plastic ladder.

Great Quality Good Looking Above Ground Liner Pool

We got 7 years out of our last soft sided pool and it was worth what we spent. We went with same size and it went up easy! Great investment for a DIY project. We used the tarp it came with plus 1.5” polystyrene foam from Home Depot as the underlayment. Taped together with gorilla  tape and a 12x12 patio block under each leg and it's perfect! We hope for many summers of enjoyment!

We built this about a month ago and it is much better than the old intex we had and I love the sand filter. My pool looks super clean, just having trouble getting the chlorine adjusted.

The pool is great but the  ladder kept floating up so we used half to attach to wood steps which my husband built but we are still working on them. The set up was longer than the 45 minutes but not too difficult.

16' Intex swimming pool

The O ring for the filter was missing, one part of ladder was broken. I called and they are mailing replacement parts. Took aboit 2 hours for my hubs and i to put it together. The cover is too small so will need to purchase a new one. Ladder is rickety so will probably replace that too. For $895 to have a pool we are thrilled!!!
