<p>The Intex 2800 GPH Pool Sand Filter Pump with Krystal Clear Saltwater System is made for above ground pools. The pump provides a system flow rate of 2,150 gallons (567.8 L) per hour and handles pools up to 17,200 gallons (757.1 L). It uses sand for filtration, which requires replacement only every five years. The saltwater system uses electrocatalytic oxidation to reduce chlorine. The built-in timer makes filtration automatic. It meets UL and CSA standards. Included items are SF10110-2 sand filter pump, 25-foot (7.62 m) GFCI power cord, Hydro Aeration Technology inlet fitting, and connector hoses. I tried initially to set the system up to my above ground pool and needed assistance from my boys.
