Does a great job. The bottom of my pool was very dirty after refilling it after it sat over the winter. This thing saves me from hours of vacuuming the bottom of my pool by hand. I'm always a little disgusted at how much I find in the filter when my pool didn't look all that dirty. It also adds a little bit of fun to pool time as you try to stay out of it's way, it's almost like a game- like it has a mind of it's own.

We have an Intex 16X 32 Ultra Frame pool that we purchased a couple months ago; the bottom was littered with debris. It took me about 5 minutes to put this vacuum together and hook up to our pool, which impressed my husband. After running the filter pump for a few hours with the vacuum, our pool bottom was sparkling clean again. Best addition to the pool yet!

So impressed with this vacuum.

Absolutely love it. It works great. I took the strainer basket out of the part that hooks up to the inlet and attached to the outlet and pushed it around the outside of the pool where a lot of trash had got blown by the vacuum when changing direction and had it all cleaned up in less than a minute and I have a 20 ft pool.

$60 for this unit. $100 for the manual rechargeable vacuum, The one you walk behind like a your vacuuming the carpet.

My son and I are having a hard time coming up with a name for our little vacuum robot. 

I was concerned about complaints that it would get stuck and stop working after the first day. They are unjustified. I have watched this little guy get stuck and then work its way out, every time.

This unit operates on the pool filter pumps discharge pressure, using eductor pump jets to propel it through the water. The eductor creates a vacuum which in turns picks up debris from the bottom. 

Note: We are using the pump that came with the 22' pool

We love our Pool Vacuum!

So when I opened the box a small plastic piece fell out so I could tell something was broken. The piece was so small I figured it was nothing and continued putting the cleaner together.  So I hooked it up to my filter and put it in the pool and nothing happened.  It didn't move an inch.  I figured my filter wasn't strong enough (as it was the wimpy one that came with the pool) so I upgraded to a 2800 gph sand filter at the price of $169.99.  Great filter by the way.  I hooked that filter up to it and still nothing.  So I took it out of the pool and took it all apart and found that the jets were not facing the right direction because that broken piece I previously mentioned was a small tab that holds the sprayer into place so it sprays in the correct direction.  So I got the sprayer aligned in the right way and hot glued it in place.  I let it dry for the night and put it in the pool and it is working perfectly.  I love it.  If it slows down just clean out the net and it will work well again.  Definitely recommend.

Can be difficult at first but stick with it

Wish I would have purchased this 5 years ago. Love It. Works GREAT! My pool stays spotless. Easy to install and take apart. But you do need to have a Sand Filter. The pumps that come with the above ground pools will not work. ( There Junk Anyways). I have to backwash more but it's well worth it. For the enexpensive price it's a must. Well done Intex.

Excellent Product

We have an 18' round Intex above ground pool with an upgraded Krystal clear 633t pump that is rated at 2500 gallons per hour. When we hooked up the vacuum it barely had any suction at the vacuum and did absolutely nothing to clean the pool or move the vacuum. Would not recommend this product and will be returning.

No good.

I was so excited when I purchased this vacuum bc it was too cold to get in The water. I followed step by step instructions and the vacuum never even moved. I even tried pushing it slightly to get it going and nothing nothin at all. So disappointed. I have to call to get a shipping label to send it back

Doesn't even move

When I got my order and opened it one of the rings on hose were broke so we couldn't use that hose which ment we couldn't use two of them because they had a order to go in but we thought it would still work so we tryed it. It didn't pick up the stuff in the pool and it would stop moving all the time. Very very very I pleased with it

Didn't work

If I could give negative stars I would. It didn't work. I called Intex for help and they yelled at me because I didn't have a silver sticker on the vaccum. They treated me horrible and wouldn't help me at all. I would not waste your money on this!!!! VMInnovations did everything to help refund my money. They are great to order from but not Intex. Very disappointed in them.
