Durable SUPER TOUGH 30 gauge PVC sidewalls are made with three layers of material. The drain plug accepts a garden hose for easy water removal. On my third pool this size. Most important thing is to protect the top ring. It is the key item to these pools. Cover as often as possible, and don't inflate the ring too mucm. Other than putting on as level and smooth a surface it's easy to setup & enjoy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The description did not say anything about the accessories so we were presenting surprised to find the Tarp, and Ladder included with pool, set up was easy and quick, with summer just around the corner this is a must have item if you have children or grandchildren!

We purchased the pool for Bark Avenue Pet Resort in Smyrna GA. We were delighted that the pool is sturdy enough for our dogs! We have been having so much fun swimming with the dogs and watching them play! It was easy to set up and the perfect addition to our resort!

Awesome Purchase!

This was, hands down, the best purchase I've made in a long time. I bought my daughter a smaller pool like this when she was younger and she loved it. I was on the fence about getting such a large pool for just the two of us, but I'm so glad I did. We both LOVE it and have used it every day. I set the pool up by myself (I know it says to use two people so you don't drag the liner, but it was hot!). Set up was a breeze. The hardest part was waiting for it to fill. We've have family and friends over for cookouts and to swim, and it's been great. You can comfortably fit a few adults and a few children in this. I didn't buy the salt filter and have not had any problems. I put minimal chlorine in it and monitor the levels with the test strips. Awesome purchase overall. It's exceeded all of my expectations!

Worth every penny!

This pool is a great value. They last several years and the few leaks from damage or age are easily repaired. This is our 3rd one. The design is also very wind resistant. We have seen a lot of the straight sided pools blowed over. This design just gives with the wind and then goes right back. The pump and vacuum system are also very good. I just suggest making a little frame work to hold the vacuum screen off the inside of the housing. It is also important to make sure you have level the ground where you are putting it with sand and putting some cheap disposable tarp under the pool will keep you from having to clean it before storage.

Good value in a pool.

I am impressed with this pool. I was concerned about my area I placed it as its a little bumpy and uneven. I filled in the low spots with some sand and eyeballed it. I followed the instructions carefully and it went up great! Super important to pull the wrinkles out of the bottom after you get just an inch or so of water across the entire bottom as any wrinkles will be a problem later when try to clean it. The ladder that came with it seems a little lacking and I will upgrade that. It's too narrow and there is no platform on the top so makes turning around difficult. But that's a minor gripe. Great pool, no problems, the inflatable ring has held the air from day one. It is a lot easier to put the cover on with help from a friend, that's for sure! This will make a hot Mississippi summer a lot more bearable!

Fantastic

Took just an hour or so to get it all set up. We didn't level anything and it's at least 4 inches off, so the pool is just higher on one side than the other. You can see the pic of my pool. Next year I may put some sand down, but we were in a hurry to get it up. We love it. The pump has a built in timer and it was just very simple and nice. We love it!

Great pool for the money!!

This is not our first above ground pool, nor is it our first Intex one. this one came with a hole which was discovered after we already had it set up and filled. then after patching it ONE day later the pump is burnt out and not working. overall such a huge waste of money! we paid $300 for sand to make sure it was nice and level area for the pool, went through HOURS of setting this up and then filled it and all within 2 days it's already shot. we havent even been able to enjoy it once!!

not even worth 1/2 the cost. huge pain.

When I received this product the box looked intact. Some tape on one side. When I removed the outer box, I saw the inner box had received severe damage. Then upon opening the box, the pool had a foot long slice through multiple layers.

Obviously, the warehouse staff damaged it, taped it up and let it go knowing full well that it was damaged. Not a very nice thing to do.

Now I have to return it to a store, wait the 10 days for a refund, then purchase another pool, and summer will be over.

Not cool.

Received Damaged

Within 24 hours of filling, two pin holes appeared in the sides. Now off to the store because the included 'repair kit' does not include the vinyl cement that is needed to make the repairs. We have not even used it yet but have over 5,000 gallons of water in this pool so hopefully it holds long enough for us to actually swim in it! Stressful!!! We followed all of the setup instructions and have been very careful with the pool. No one has gone near it except to check the fill levels...the quality is disappointing!

Buy a repair kit and have it ready!
