This is the perfect size for me to hang with my husband in or for me to chill and float with my 7 and 4 year old while they play!  Not too much to take care of like a giant pool and super easy to set up.

I bought this Intex to replace a Summer Escapes pool. I had the Summer Escapes one year and was unable to adequately patch small holes in the flimsy liner. The liner on the Intex seems thicker and a bit more durable. In addition, the motor on the Intex appears more powerful and runs much quieter. I easily set this pool up by myself in a little over an hour. I used site-to-store as the delivery method and was really pleased with Walmart's service. It's a great little pool--doesn't take up much room, yet is deep enough to dunk under in and cool off. For $100, it's a pretty good deal.

Simple & Refreshing

I purchased this pool as a means of exercise and to cool off after mowing the lawn. The assembly was not difficult but would have been much easier, of course, with a second pair of hands. But it's not that difficult at all to put together by yourself - it just takes a little patience. Take your time, follow the directions exactly as instructed, and you will be pleasantly surprised how relatively easy it all comes together. I'm a petite 61 year old woman and managed the assembly without much difficulty at all. I would say that the most important part of the assembly is to make certain you smooth out the liner to get the wrinkles out before filling, and to give the poles one final check to make sure they are as straight as possible before filling. I walked around the pool as it was filling making adjustments here and there to the poles to make certain they remain straight all the way around. You also want the liner to have even spacing around the top rails. This will all make sense once you begin the assembly process. There is a video included in the packing as well so no worries. I clean the filter every two days using the hose nozzle and reuse and keep two small chlorine tabs in the floater. To save a little money, you can make your own skimmer to keep the particles and small debris out by covering an old tennis racket with a pair of panty hose cut to slip over the racket. Just slip it over the racket, twist it around the back to tighten and tie in a knot. Ha! :-) Works GREAT and removes teeny tiny particles as well!! The pool is roomy enough for a couple of floating chairs if you just want to relax. I'm using mine primarily for exercising using water resistance and it's perfect for that!! This is a nice little pool which is surprisingly roomier than expected and we are truly getting a lot of enjoyment out of it.

A good value for the amount of enjoyment

I have owned about 4 of these pools in the last 15 years. The liners seem to last about 3-4 years with proper care. Which I feel for the money spent is a reasonable return. In the winter I store it in a lawn bag in an outside shed and just try to avoid any risks of puncture. Several times I only replaced the liner. The filter pump and the other hardware last much longer. Never had a filter pump go bad. In fact I set this new pool up today and am using the filter pump from the old one. If it ever goes bad I have a spare new one. My wife and I love this pool in hot weather it is a great place to cool off. Three adults can use it comfortably, although we have had more in it with no problem. If you need a pool to just relax and cool off on a hot day with little expence and effort this is it!

Great Pool at a Reasonable Price!

Getting the ground level took alot of time, and breaks in between. We had to dig out one side and raise up the other. We used layers of plastic and sand in the middle. The level said ready, so we proceeded. It didn't take anytime at all to set the pool up and get the water running in it. I got in and made sure the wrinkles were stretched out with my feet. You have to do this from the very beginning, because in no time the water will be too heavy to move anything. I kept adjusting the poles so when the water is in there, nothing will be touching. It turned out perfect. It's been a week now, and no leaks. The pump has not been connected yet, because we wanted to check for leaks first. I decided to go for the salt water system, and looks like it will need a bigger pump for it to work properly, so I will order that as well. Hoping it all turns out. I got this pool for my Mom's 80th Birthday and she is so excited to get in it. I will keep posting on updates as they occur. Happy Birthday MOM !!!

Pool Seems Sturdy...So Far So Good

Loved the pool! I added the solar heater mat from Bestway but I should hav gotten the two pack to really heat it up! I put a good tarp from Tractor supply and a circular pad. I will be trimming the pad down because it was a 12 inch and sticks out a lot. 
The only issue is the pump. It doesn't do much. It's not strong enough to accurately pump the water so I purchased another one which should be here in a few days. 
Other than that the pool was easy to assemble and perfect for our little family of three. :) This is my first above ground pool. It does take some upkeep so be prepared. Go on YouTube and look at set up videos. Buy the chlorine and baking soda tablets and the liquid chlorine. 
I also purchased a Catfish pool vacuum for it. I've only had the pool a week but so far so good!

Cheap but does the trick!!

This is the first pool Ive purchased and Im soooo glad I did! I live in AZ and needed something to cool me down when it gets 107+ degrees. So here's what you need if you're not quite sure what to buy in addition to the pool:

Pool vacuum
Pool net
Chlorine dispenser
Chlorine tablets (1" are the ones I like to use)
Shock treatment
Test strips
Extra filter (It already comes with one, but this comes handy)

Thats the basic pretty much, unless you buy like a Krystal salt filter kinda thing. You can buy all this stuff from walmart.

Tips:

-Don't let the chlorine tablets sink and dissolve to the bottom of the pool or it will bleach your liner and you'll have a big white ugly spot.

-Take out all the wrinkles at the bottom of the liner when you start filling up the pool and its at like 2" full.

-You're most likely going to kneel on the pool at one point or another so make sure you put something under the pool before filling that has some cushion, even some thick old blankets will work.

And last, BUY IT!! You won't regret it!! ^_^

I upgraded this year from the 10'X30" easy set I had last year. Definitely worth the extra few bucks. Feels very solid, only had it up for a week, but I believe it will hold up quite well. One advice I have to give, the clips that hold the horizontal beams together, tend to pop out quite easily (at least while assembling), so I used tie wraps to hold them in place. If you don't want the expense of a full sized pool, and want something better than any inflatable type product, this is a great choice for creating a cool fun place to hang out during the hot summer, kids will love it, and several adults can fit comfortably inside and chill out. Would definitely recommend or purchase again!

Great Value!

The pool was simple to set up and and the entire process took about 1 hour. Do NOT ignore the instruction to place the pool on level ground! If the area is off by a fraction of an inch, the pool will lean towards the low spot and the side will bulge, giving the pool an uneven, saggy appearance. It also creates undue stress on the frame which could lead to eventual failure of the entire pool. The major complaint (most often cited in online reviews) is the pump/filtering system. It is utter junk and failed after 2 days! We contacted Intex for a replacement, but in the meantime will have to find an alternate means of keeping the water clean. We will most likely order a higher quality pump from another vendor; however, this will probably exceed the cost of the pool. Aside from the pump issue, the pool seems to be sturdy enough for day-to-day use and, with proper care, should last for a couple of summers.

Intex 10 x 30 Pool Review

I'm glad I've had this pool in the past because I had to use parts from last years pool that had to be trashed because of to many leaks. The clips that hold the frame together did not lock in. I used the clips from the pool I purchased three years ago. There were no hose claps in the b box, .Said they were included in the parts list. And the first application of chlorinator bleached the bottom of the pool. I was happy with the last purchase of this pool and that's why I ordered the same one. The last one lasted me three years which I thought was good but I cant see this one lasting quite as long.
