We love it!   We have had very little maintenance to do on the pool with this filter system.  It has saved us time and money.  Our pool is nice and clear all the time.  Plus the salt water us so much easier on your skin

ive had sand filters in the past, and with the new pool last year (above ground almost 14,000 gallons) WAS using the included intex cartridge filter.. seriously underpowered!! something went wrong with last years "saline generator", so when i saw this combo i jumped on it. i spent the extra money and got the clorox brand "filter sand" 2 bags = 50lbs the sand container could have taken more (make sure you use %2320 silica sand not play sand or mortar sand) but the 2 bags was enough for now. after running it 8 hours at a time 3 days later i found the FP or PF (fulltime pump?) option and ran the filter and generator non stop for 2 or 3 days. TOTALLY cleared up the pool! The backwash looked like muddy water.  ran the generator on boost the whole time and over chlorinated the pool 🤣 so yeah, that works well too ! the picture of the pool below is as much pre fill cleaning as i was willing to do prior to fillingot for the year

Maintenance free pool

I can't get in touch with intex. I bought the system and just set it up. There is NO plunger top to the Filter.. now its going to be a whole before we can finish and use it.
