I bought this pool for my almost 3 y/o so I wouldn't have to go swimming in the big pool with her multiple times a time and it is perfect for her. I put her puddle jumper  on her and don't have to worry (of course I don't leave her alone) but she can barley touch bottom so it teaches her to swim as well. Only downfall, it comes with everything for a pump but NO PUMP. My fault I didn't fully read description but it is fine without one!
