[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my grandkids when they came to visit and it's perfect! They're 5 and 3 and had a blast! It comes with 2 sets of pump parts and but no pump. I bought a pump from Amazon. I recommend getting a net and pool vacuum as well! We use it to cool off in the evenings bc Oklahoma summers are brutal!

Just looking at the picture it doesn't look very big, but it fits 2 people. It's now filled all the way to the top and when I sit (4f 11 in) it's up to my neck. What I love: the price, the size, the sturdiness, and how easy it was to put up. I will re-order this pool a million times over those rectangular pools hands down. It's easy to clean and the upkeep is a snap.

It's a whale of a wash, the price oh my gosh!

I love it! Perfect size for our little family and our 1 year old. We have a huge one too but it burnt our grass so this one for perfect for our patio easy set up and filling up fast! Got here super fast too!

Already recommended to a friend

I bought this pool for my kids and was very happy to get it for over half off. My kids are 14, 6, and 8, and we have plenty of room to swim around in.

I am however, very unhappy with the fact that one of the seams has several tears I can't even see, and the pool constantly dribbles and weeps. I'm going to try patching it but I don't see the patches included working very well. I'm also not happy with the poor instructions. The instructions leave you to think you can just drop a hose in and let it fill, which I did the first time, and the pool was lopsided because the plug ended up underneath and the pressure was letting water out. I had to find a video on YouTube to show proper setup, in which you do have to move and kick the sides out as it fills to keep it even.

My last gripe is that I believe I was sent the wrong item, or the advertising isn't correct. I wanted the version of the pool that does not have the filter hookup or openings. I was instead sent a pool with the openings, and everything for the filter, but no filter (they sell it separately). I don't need or want the filter as I'm manually cleaning the pool, and there weren't even instructions as to how to cover the openings if you're not using them (had to look it up as well). Knowing how Walmart is with returns, I am settled to just keep the pool as it is functional for now, but I don't see the seam surviving past this summer and I'm just not happy that I didn't receive the model I was sold.

Usable but Disappointing

There is no filter but holes for the filter and it doesn't seem to plug properly. One of our parts doesn't even fit together properly so not sure how we'll enjoy it. Size is great tho

Intex 8ft pool parts

my kids played in this thing ONE time and i was out there with them the entire time and they weren't playing rough at all (it was my 14 year old girl playing with my 4 year old boy so they were being very careful).  they were maybe in it for an hour and the side had a hole in it and the tip part had 2 holes!! total piece of junk!!! i honestly think those holes could have been there when i got it because i can't figure out what they could have done to cause that to happen!

i have previously had intex aboveground pools,  most of which lasted several years.  the last two years, The intex pool i ordered last year developed a leak in the rig around the top and i could never find it. w/o that ring inflated, its difficult to keep the water from coming out.  i ordered this pool, and as soon as I set it up, and put air into the ring w/in minutes the air came out. I found the tiny hole, but I can't fix it.

It was to say the least, a very bid disappointment. Set it up , wasted water, only to have two pin holes . My grandson's feeling were hurt. In return, that hurt me.

Great disappointment

Looks nothing like the photo. I leveled the ground, put down a tarp and put the pool over it, filled up the air, filled it with water, and it looks nothing like the photo. Much smaller and doesn't hold its form. The water favors one side and tips it even though the land is flat. It's not a good design and the photos are deceiving. Way overpriced for what was received, this is a $15 item at best.

Not as nice as the photo

The pictures looked great it said easy set up. Only the top ring inflates but then then the rest of pool does not get taller upwards when filling sooooo it does not have a shape and nothing like that picture. Did not come with a pump or mat to put under. Disappointed
