I have had this vacuum two seasons, used nearly every day on my 18' round above ground pool and it is still going strong. I have not had any issues with the charger or head staying attached like some of the reviews. It picks up sand and grit along with small leaves and debris with out having to hook up a hose and constantly add water. Really has made pool maintenance soo much easier. I can get two cleanings on one charge, also I recommend adding an after market skimmer if your pool didn't come equipped with one to keep the top of the water clean.

Considering the price, I was extremely skeptical however, I couldn't be more thrilled with the way it performs!  Now, I've only had it a few days, but I've already used it several times and it's wonderful!  If it holds up through the summer, even if I have to replace it yearly for the price it's a great value!  Sucks up leaves and sand wonderfully!

Intex Above Ground Pool Rechargeable Vacuum

Love the vacuum! It can pick up sand and algae with the sticking like filter and it will pick up leaves and pine needles when you use the net bag. Charge lasts 1-2 hours.

Really worth the price!

Very handy easy to use.  Saves time from hooking up big hose and vacuum. Works ok on our above ground pool.  Wish filter was a little finer for the dead algae.

This little vacuum has plenty of power. I swept my 18x33 pool after a storm and it even picked up leaves. The tiniest sand particle came up as well. Love it!

Great vacuum.

The gadget sweeps my swim spa pretty darn well. HOWEVER, the on off button broke the second I touched it. Need to file a warranty claim. Delivery was very fast, sooner than promised. The pole is VERY flimsy and I am worried about how long it will last. There is no light that indicates if the thing is charging or not and ofcourse you have no idea when it is fully charged. They tell you how to plug it in (USB cable included, no plug) so who knows how long to fully charge and who knows how long before you damage the battery. Don't even know if it quits charging on it's own when fully charged. I charge it for a couple of hours and hope for the best. Over all, comparing to what I have seen out there, for the money and performance, worth the purchase. I wish they would go the extra 5 yards and make it amazing.

The thing works pretty good!

So far, I'm impressed! We've used it 3 times and it is great. Visible results.  I gave it a 4/5 because one small movement backwards and the debris that were just picked up come out if you arent careful. A forward motion seems to work best. Not back and forth, and not picking it up or debris will fall out. The rechargeable battery is also good so far.

Hi everyone, I am giving this Vacuum 1 star for one reason.  The charging cable did not stay in the Vacuum charging port. It was so loose the cable would fall out.  I had to wrap the cable around the top of the Vacuum and plug the charging cable into the Vacuum and tape the cable into place..  I can say this that I was able to charge the Vacuum and it did work in the pool VERY WELL!!  I am sending this Vacuum back for a refund being that it is the end of the pool season. I am going to buy the same model next Spring for the pool and I hope the Charging cable will not be an issue again..

 The charger will not stay attached plus the head had a tendency of coming off while cleaning the pool. I will be returning it

This thing barely picked up anything from the bottom of my pool. Returned it today for a refund. I charged it three times, fully charged like the directions said and it still failed to pick up anything. Don't waste your money.
