Worth the money. Easy to set up and deflate. Me and my 8 year old could set it up in 7 minutes flat. Stays stable on water and also bears weight of 2 adults easily. It's fun experience if you are getting into kayaking for the first time. I recommend it for a beginner.

Value for money

I don't have much experience kayaking, but bought this for kayaking in the mangroves. This is great quality for the price. I felt very safe in it (no worries about popping or tipping), it blows up very easily, and is a great solution for people who want to kayak but are low on funds and space.

so sturdy and roomy. Plenty of room for two adults, a dog, and a cooler. Easy to manuver, use it for touring around the harbor. Surprised how fast it inflated. Searched the internet, this seemed to have the best reviews and they were right. Walmart.com is for sure the cheapest anywhere, by far!

For the price this is a great purchase.

I have to agree with other comments on this product about the paddles, they seem to be a little weak if you really dig in while rowing. The paddles are 5 pieces that disconnect to fit into the travel bag, which is a plus for storage and transportation. They should be fine for average rowing but I was rowing upstream against the current and wind and could feel some give to the joints of the paddle. 

As for the kayak, my only complaint is that the seam is on the top of the tubes and my hand was irritated as they slid down the seam as I paddled. 

I had read complaints that the kayak wouldn't maintain a straight line but I found it very easy to navigate and maintain my intended line. It was also surprisingly stable. I am over 250 pounds and I had my daughter with me at around 75 pounds. We were both easily able to enter and exit the kayak and I switched between my daughter and younger son a few times without issue. 

I was a little concerned about an inflatable kayak, mainly due to durability. On the first trip out we got hung up on a submerged tree, just under the water line. I checked the kayak out thoroughly and couldn't even find a scuf mark on the underside. 

I had also read complaints on the pump which is included. It feels light and cheap but I had brought my electric air pump and found the air pump that is included was much faster than the electric pump. The kayak inflated rather quickly but there are several sections that need to be inflated so it does take a little time. 

Overal I believe this is a great purchase.

Great purchase

At $96 and free shipping, this falls into the "no brainer" category. Being so inexpensive, I was a little cautious about it and did not let my expectations get too high. I got the package and all was there. I inflated it last night to make sure that it did not loose any air overnight. This morning it was still fully inflated - no leaks. Deflated it, took it to a waterfront park access to a tidal river. Inflated and in the water paddling within 10 minutes of arriving at the dock.
It paddled very well and was faster than I expected. I was paddling against ~ a 2 kt current and a slight breeze and was able to easily cover a good distance in a half hour. I estimate that I could comfortably do about 4 to 5 kts over a long period of time in zero current water.
The steg seems to work very well. I noticed that a few reviews were critical of the skeg since they stated that the steg is susceptible to coming off. I don' know if this was something that Intex did anything about , but the steg on my kayak connects VERY Snugly and LOCKS in place. I can't comprehend how the steg on the kayak that I have would fall off or be knocked loose by hitting something.
I paddled solo, with the back seat moved up to the center as far a possible in the range of adjustment. The seat was reasonably comfortable. The back support is adequate, but not as good as a rigid kayak with a more expensive seat. My rating does not indicate that I think that it is comparable in performance to a rigid kayak, but for what it is, an inflatable, low cost, very portable boat, it delivers very well. I have not paddled any other inflatable kayak models or brands, but I would have a hard time believing that any other inflatable kayak would perform much better than this one.
This is my second Intex product. I also have the Seahawk 2 and have caught many fish from that inflatable boat. The Seahawk 2 rows very well.
If you are apartment bound without room (or budget) for a traditional boat, but would really like to get on the water, this the the boat for you!

Delivers as advertised!

We got this boat hoping it would fit the 2 of us and our 6 yr old... it did, and without any problem! We even took our 50lb boxer for a spin in it, and his nails did not even mark the surface of the boat. With the scag in, it tracks quite nice. You sit out of the water enough to really get moving in quiet water. Love our new boat

Great little 2.5 person kayak with nice quality!

I purchased this due to so many positive ratings and we took it to the lake this weekend and inflated it to about 80% on the floor and 80-90% on the sides as recommended  and everyone had a blast on it. The seats have a strap that allows you to adjust the position and firmness of the seats and it all carries in the provided bag.
My wife and I were looking for something to just go out in w/o taking the big boat and now we have a new family favorite.

Such a fun ride and fast

This boat is awesome, especially for such a great price. NOt cheapy like I expected and the paddles are really nice too. We used it on the river all summer. Pumps up really fast. Easy to carry. Easy to deflate. My tweens LOVED it. It was better to deal with then my 800$ boat. I wouldnt take it on super rocky class 3 rapids because its not that tough but it was sure good enough for a fun ride on easier waves etc.

Not sure why I expected much in terms of quality based on the purchase price but I had r back in the box and ready to return an hour after I opened it. Fully inflated it never looked like the photo. I didn't have confidence that I could go very far in it. It states that it can hold up to 400lbs but it when you read closer it's only good for 330lbs of people or 1 person with gear equaling 400lbs. Misleading information in the description.

You get what you pay for

I bought it 4 months ago and used it about once a month or so but now it has already 2 holes right at the seam one inside and one outside. The patch that showed on the box was not inside. Very disappointed at how fast holes came about at the seams. Poor Quality unless you plan to use it just once or twice I wouldn' t trust it.
