Worth the money. Easy to set up and deflate. Me and my 8 year old could set it up in 7 minutes flat. Stays stable on water and also bears weight of 2 adults easily. It's fun experience if you are getting into kayaking for the first time. I recommend it for a beginner.

Value for money

Wanted to try kayaking on a limited budget. This was the answer! I can get this kayak inflated and ready for the water in about 15 minutes. Once on the water it performed well, is quite stable, and keeps 100% inflated. We took it out on a lake with no current but we still had wakes from the other watercraft in the area and we didn't have difficulty cutting through those. We paddled for over 2 miles the first day out and loved it! Can deflate and pack it in just a few minutes. Took longer to dry it off than to pack it! Highly recommend one!

Great and economical

I did about a months research on a few different inflatable kayaks and always came to this one.

I was a little Leary about buying it, because of where I would be using it. There tends to be high plant growth hiding just at water level which tends to be hard to see at times. I was concerned about getting a hole in bottom of kayak.
Luckily one day I had been at the area where I want to use this and came across to guys who were using the same kayak! I got to see first hand what it was like before I bought it!

So I bought it the next day! I just used it and I have no regrets. Lots of room, Max Weight is 400lbs.
Oars are ok but are not long enough. I purchase a 96 inch paddle by shoreline. Which I recommend. Easy to inflate and doesn't take long. Since it was just me and alot of camera equipment I didn't bother putting second seat in. I am tall and had alot of room.
The skeg even after running over a low area did not fall off. Steering is pretty good .

All in all I think it is rated the best! Well worth it.

Great compact kayak for money!

For the price this is a great purchase.

I have to agree with other comments on this product about the paddles, they seem to be a little weak if you really dig in while rowing. The paddles are 5 pieces that disconnect to fit into the travel bag, which is a plus for storage and transportation. They should be fine for average rowing but I was rowing upstream against the current and wind and could feel some give to the joints of the paddle. 

As for the kayak, my only complaint is that the seam is on the top of the tubes and my hand was irritated as they slid down the seam as I paddled. 

I had read complaints that the kayak wouldn't maintain a straight line but I found it very easy to navigate and maintain my intended line. It was also surprisingly stable. I am over 250 pounds and I had my daughter with me at around 75 pounds. We were both easily able to enter and exit the kayak and I switched between my daughter and younger son a few times without issue. 

I was a little concerned about an inflatable kayak, mainly due to durability. On the first trip out we got hung up on a submerged tree, just under the water line. I checked the kayak out thoroughly and couldn't even find a scuf mark on the underside. 

I had also read complaints on the pump which is included. It feels light and cheap but I had brought my electric air pump and found the air pump that is included was much faster than the electric pump. The kayak inflated rather quickly but there are several sections that need to be inflated so it does take a little time. 

Overal I believe this is a great purchase.

Great purchase

so sturdy and roomy. Plenty of room for two adults, a dog, and a cooler. Easy to manuver, use it for touring around the harbor. Surprised how fast it inflated. Searched the internet, this seemed to have the best reviews and they were right. Walmart.com is for sure the cheapest anywhere, by far!

incredible!

We got this boat hoping it would fit the 2 of us and our 6 yr old... it did, and without any problem! We even took our 50lb boxer for a spin in it, and his nails did not even mark the surface of the boat. With the scag in, it tracks quite nice. You sit out of the water enough to really get moving in quiet water. Love our new boat

Great little 2.5 person kayak with nice quality!

We have always loved the idea of taking the kids out for kayaking, but who wants to lug one of these things around-or store one? We were fishing and saw a family with this and we bought it that same day. It is large with comfy seats that velcro and buckle into place. It comes with a pump and takes quite a while to fill this with air, but it is so worth it. The oars are simple to snap together and are secure. The seats were comfy, even with our life jackets..plenty of room (for two people <300 lbs total). The oars are not the most comfy, especially after about 5 minutes of rowing..they could do with better grips, but for the price, what you get is what you need for a fantastic time on the lake. We were caught by some currents and I was surprised at how nicely we were able to stay in control and maneuver with this kayak and the oars. It was smooth sailing and easy (and fast) to deflate and toss in the car. I am so pleased with this purchase. The kids had a great time and so did we.

Accessible Fun on the Lake!

Came ahead of schedule. The included pump inflated the floor and 2 large hull chambers very quickly.  The bow and stern areas were easy fills. The seats are adjustable and comfy and I'm over 6 feet tall. The paddles alone are $35 each if bought separate. So the cost of both is almost equal to the price of the whole kayak! Great value and many great YouTube reviews!

Intex K2 Explorer

So far so good!!! My husband and I weigh 355-365 between the two of us and it was smooth sailing for us. We have taken it out twice and both times we've had a blast! Airs up fairly quick with an pump plugged into the car… we used the hand pump to finish off airing it up and then took it with us on the water just in case.

LOVE IT!!!

Not sure why I expected much in terms of quality based on the purchase price but I had r back in the box and ready to return an hour after I opened it. Fully inflated it never looked like the photo. I didn't have confidence that I could go very far in it. It states that it can hold up to 400lbs but it when you read closer it's only good for 330lbs of people or 1 person with gear equaling 400lbs. Misleading information in the description.
