I had unexpected company one week, and went to Walmart the day they were to arrive. I got this air mattress because it had a built in electric pump. I had an old air mattress from YEARS ago that you had to blow up manually. It was also a nightmare to deflate and put away, and I finally threw it away after my kids grew up. I never planned to buy another one, but then I was short one bed. Am I ever glad I made this purchase! Boy have things improved! This mattress was SUPER EASY to both inflate and deflate. Took about 10 minutes, and it was the size of an actual twin mattress. One of the best buys I've ever made. VERY happy!

GREAT AIR MATTRESS

We had a guest for a week and needed a twin size bed to use that was easy to inflate as well as easy to deflate. This bed with the pump included fit our needs perfectly. It is worth the extra cost up front to have the built in pump. We expect to use it for some overnight visits too as it is easy to carry and doesn't take up a lot of space. Well pleased.

I am very pleased with my purchase of this air bed. 
I read the reviews before I purchased this mattress,  many reviews were negative saying it loses air. I have been using this mattress every night for about thirty days, on the third day I just had to top it off with a little air.  
It is a comfortable mattress and holds air very well.

Air bed

We purchased this air mattress for my three year old to sleep on while at the beach last week.  We blew it up a few days before to let it stretch out and adjust.  Once we got to the beach and blew it up we never put any air in it over the 4 nights we were there.  He loved sleeping on it and slept great every night.  I even fell asleep and took a nap on it.  It was probably more comfortable than the real bed we slept on.  It's extremely easy and convenient- just plug it in and turn the switch and it inflates in a snap!  I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Great purchase!

I bought this in a pinch for a house guest. It was easy to inflate, deflate and put away. My guest said it was comfortable- and they have a bad back. I laid down it before putting it away and it was indeed very comfortable!
My only complaint would be that it is easy to fall off of it- my guest did the 1st night sleeping on it (but was fine after) and I almost did when getting off of it when I tried it.
Overall, though, I would definitely recommend it and will more than likely use it myself in the future.

Intex Twin DuraBeam Mid-Rise Airbed Mattress

This is the third and fourth bed I have bought like this. The first two left a bit to be desired, but they are so handy for traveling, or for guests, that they are well worth the money.

They come with a patch kit, but you should have some gorilla glue on hand for attaching them. You probably WILL need them.

In the mean time, they are very comfortable to sleep on and tuck away to a very convenient size for packing.

I'm 71 years old and the raised bed makes it much easier for me to get up and down from.

good camping bed

The matress was surprisingly comfortable, remained cool instead of heating up in very hot conditions, fit standard twin sheets, and inflated easily as well as defated easily. Included storage bag was a plus. However, it consistantly lost air with use and had to be reflated each night. Without being reinflated fully, it had a tendency to tip over if one rolled toward the edge.

better than expected

I bought this mattress in the store, used it twice and no longer held air.  They no longer carried twin size in store so I had to reorder online.  The first  time using it went flat with the weight of a 100 pound person.  Love the idea of the pump inside mattress but unfortunately does not seal tight to hold the air.

Disappointed

Mattress does not hold air.  Within one hour of filling, HALF of the air was gone.
Filled it for three days with the same result.

Called Intex customer service twice to complain. It was purchased for an overnight guest who couldn't use it.
I will be returning it.

Defective product

This air mattress is the most uncomfortable I have ever purchased. In order to be able to get out of it you have to inflate it to the point that it sleeps like a rock otherwise when you sit up on the edge to stand up the side crushes to the ground. Maybe it would be okay for a small child on a sleep over but adults will find it awful.
