I have ordered maybe three of thes things and I have an 8000 gal water pool so when a leak occurs it cost me 1800$ to refill what was lost,and it has happened over and over again it always has a leak around the underside where the hose joins to another end

The system is easy to set-up and includes a bypass valve that allows you to leave the pump on but bypass the solar in case it is not in the sun or the pool is warm enough.  Wish the company had an adapter that allowed you to extend the hoses (2 clamps plus a hose-to-hose fitting) as we would ideally want the pad further from the pump than the set-up allows.  We have the pool inside the garage (approximately 10 foot by 7 foot by 29 inch rectangular intex pool).  The only heat it is currently getting is from a single solar mat outside (which gets sun only 7 hours of the day).  It has consistently gotten a 4 degree temperature boost.  We are adding one additional pad and hope to get an additional 2-4 degrees.

Great for our 10x6 intex pool

This actually seems to work for our pool. It does make the pump work harder, so it pumps slower, but there is a bypass, which we use overnight, to  have water go straight through instead of running through the whole heating mat. The pool is definitely warmer and we are very happy with this purchase.

I have a 15' pool and was trying to heat it up a bit for the grandchildren.  This item has worked as it should to take the chill out of my pool.  This combined with a cover got the pool up to 30 C.  Only downfall is my pool is raised to be level and I can't seem to get the matt flat for optimal heating.

Appears to work.  Buyers should know up front that multiple mats are recommended, I say needed, for anything other than the 10 foot inflatable pool.  I have a 10 foot metal frame INTEX pool and 2 mats.  I get about 7 hours sunshine on a good sunny day.

Multiple mats needed for almost all pools.

It's a flat black plastic mat  I purchased two and one is broken the other one works. For the hassle it's not worth it. The water does come out hotter but it's really not worth the trouble to set them up and then half your pool is empty cause a hole in the thin black plastic. The idea is sound but this product is pretty bad

Skip it and save some water

you need like 6 of these to make a difference, placing a tarp over the pool worked better and cost way less

crap, got several small cracks in it near the water inlet junction, not even had 2 hours use , unable fix with patches or glue, it's laid out on a flat surface too

waste of money

easy to set up but the pump that came with our pool was supposed to be suffient to run up to 6 mats. DONT EVEN TRY...according to their instructions. and they WILL NOT lay flat in your yard and they are very difficult to keep from pinching together and cutting off water supply.

Would give 0 stars if possible! Used for 2 weeks. Busted at the seam  in 2 places overnight and we lost half of our pool water! Who's going to pay for the new water?
