The bar of soap has changed - the name IVORY is only on one side and it looks to be added to (not one whole mold of soap), there’s a line, like a seam around the bar.

For two years now, I've been struggling to find my large bars of ivory soap? Today I googled and found that I did not learn the basic lesson that new Coke learned.
Somebody got a big promotion over this change and I'm sorry. Good luck. Tell us fellow Americans when you're changing the product and offer both.

Deceptive change, Did not let consumers know the formula changed.  Most companies say New Formula as a heads up.   smells weird now, lathers poorly now. rinses poorly now.
I have used ivory for decades.  No longer a 140 years trusted brand.
Looks like you gave away a lot of free soap to get positive reviews.  
Good Riddance, will be find a new brand.

Deceptive Change - No longer a trusted brand.

Does not lather like the original formula.  Smells different than the original formula.  You screwed up.  If the change was to cut costs, you could have increased the price.  If it was because it was a small percentage of sales, you should have advertised more.  Claiming that this product goes back generations is false; it's not the same stuff.  Bad move, and I will no longer buy it.

Ruined what was once good

I've been using Ivory soap for almost 50 years after being diagnosed with allergies to just about everything. It was the one product I could always count on — mild, clean, and safe for my sensitive skin. Over the years, most of my allergies have faded, and Ivory was a big part of that comfort.Recently, I bought a new pack and immediately noticed something different. After using it, my skin started itching nonstop, day and night, until it bled. Nothing else in my daily routine had changed, so I looked at the packaging and realized the formula now lists added ingredients and perfumes.I checked the Ivory website and saw several new versions — one original, one with aloe, and another with oat milk — but even the “Original” bar now says it's made with plant-based cleaners and “light perfume.” Whether it's this change or the removal of the ingredients that made it float, something in the new formula causes a painful allergic reaction for me.After half a century of loyalty, I'm sad to say I can no longer use Ivory soap.

After 50 Years, Ivory Isn't the Same

Ivory has changed its 99 percent pure formula. It's not on the label any more however they are still  claiming that they have 140 years of trusted product. It's definitely not the same product that built that reputation. It always used to rinse clean. Now I can't get the soap film off my body. I don't trust it anymore therefore I won't be using it again. Back to pure glycerin for me

Ivory Soap

Very disappointed in the new formula. They changed their ingredients and their process in making the soap.  It is completely different.  They old formula had been around 145 years.  I just bought 30 bars and realized the difference instantly.  Now I need to see if I can return them.

Not as good as the Original Formula

Just opened my new package of original ivory bar soap. It's not original. It's smooth and shiny and smells different. And it doesn't float anymore. Been using ivory soap for decades. Why would you change something for no reason? If something is more than 99% pure and millions of people use it, leave it alone. Remember when Coca-Cola changed their recipe? We all know what happened with that.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

As soon as I opened the package I knew this wasn't the same product I loved growing up. Firstly, I could hardly smell any fragrance, unless I literally put it against my nose. Secondly, what I could smell, was NOT the original, fresh, clean smell of Ivory soap I loved. The bars appearance isn't the same as the original, either. The original was bright white, clean, milky looking. This garbage looks plastic, like a mold of 2 offwhite pcs glued together. And it doesn't soap up the same. The fact that the packaging describes it as "Original Scent" is a lie.

Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining.

I have used this product my whole adult life and have loved it. Now it has changed and it marketed as the "original scent". The new bar is waxy, leaves a filmy finish and does NOT smell like the original. Silly, but it also does not float. The advertising is VERY misleading! Please bring back the actual original Ivory bar soap!
