Bought this yesterday (the 2" version) to repair my irrigation PVC, which is at 45 psi.  Small hole in 3" main pipe, no stress fractures or breakage, just a small hole (from a stupid mistake of mine).  I had used the 1" version a week earlier to repair a hoe handle and was impressed how it stood up to really hard use over the next several days.  For the PVC, even though one review said it didn't work, I decided to just do what I usually do with PVC repairs, which is clean it, do a final wipe with alcohol, and carefully follow instructions.  For this repair, I had to file off a small bit of bent PVC that was sticking out (1/8"), then sanded the heck out of four inches on both sides of the hole using 1" sandpaper on a roll.  I used two 2' lengths of sandpaper and sanded 360 degrees around the pipe well--I could see tiny bits of PVC flying off and some stuck in the sandpaper.  Washed everything with clean water, then when it was dry, wiped it down with lots of rubbing alcohol using blue shop towels (lint free).  I put the kneaded blob of epoxy putty right over the hole and the slice leading up to it, then wrapped the pipe (perfectly, I must say) with the activated wrap, followed by the vetwrap self-adhesive.  The whole thing ooze very nicely and looked like a really good repair.  It set overnight of course, and when I fired up the 15-horse pump this morning, I took a photo of the PVC repair.  NO LEAKS, not a drip.  PS:  I'm a 70-plus female rancher.

Great Bond

This kit comes with just what you need to repair pipes up to 1", which even includes gloves to ensure you don't have to touch the materials! I found this product to also dry quite quickly and to cure in about 15 or 20 minutes, which is not a long time to wait at all, so it's very hasslefree! I would buy again if I ever needed to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to repair a kitchen leak.  It was a little tedious to use and you had to move quickly.  And the gloves seemed to be less than adequate for this job.  Seemed a little messy but definitely a better option than a fix it man or plumber.

Easy to use

I sanded to copper pipe and cleaned it with alcohol so no particles were left, I kneaded the the putty until it was one color. the putty would not stick to the copper. I tried to hold it in place with the resin wrap , but that was even more slippery. Pretty much a total fail.This might work if you had the pipe on the middle of the room with access from all sides and 4 hands
