[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Be sure to wear your gloves and follow the directions.  I only did 2 wraps on a 2 inch PVC pipe and wish I had done at least 4 or the 5 in the directions.  A bit expensive; but, it worked better than expected.  It still has a slow leak (1 drip a minute) but compared to a 1/2 inch steady stream I am pleased.  I am getting more and I will use it again.

It works

Great for reinforcing or fixing tools. I have used this in the past to fix an old rake, and recently used it to reinforce my mailbox post because it was rotting and falling over, and I wasn't ready to whip out the funds for a new one. Crazy strong repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this wrap on a axe handle that has been broken for years. It was easy to use and formed a strong bond which made my axe useable again. The process was easy however it was a little messy. You apply it to water then to the item you intend to fix. Recommend reading the directions 
and wearing latex gloves but overall it is a top notch product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a handy product to have on stock for home repairs. Easy to use and works! I am not a super handy lady, but I like to be able to make repairs and take care of items around my home and garage. I am able to do that with this product.

Handy!

While this did work to close a split pipe quiet well, before I even started wrapping the fiberglass around the pipe, the thumb of the glove split.  It's a good thing I have Uni-solved on hand or my fingers would have ended up being stuck together.  Please provide better gloves or tell the user to supply their own.  This resin is no joke.

I've used this product in emergency situations where leaving the job to go buy a new tool or handle isn't cost effective. It has great potential depending on the application. It's rare that I would plan on this being a permanent solution for repairing a high impact type tool like the axe handle as seen in the demo video. Think about the possibility of the handle breaking off upon impact and where it might land if it doesn't stick in the log. If you'll watch the video closely you'll see the last frame is the axe splitting a log like butter. Now look closely and you'll see there is no damage on that particular axe handle not is there any repair material on it. That's intentionally misleading. It may very well repair an axe handle and you never have a problem. Id be cautious in that application. I've repaired shovel handles ,hoes and wheel barrow handles and all worked quite well.

Good repair for low impact applications

If you use this exactly like the demonstration on the box it will work.  However, if you apply it in a manner that does not allow you to tightly wrap the product around a pipe or handle of some sort, as it dries, it contracts and lifts off whatever it is meant to repair, in my case a fiberglass canoe paddle.  It can only be used to wrap around something small in diameter.  The gloves that came with it were a size extra small.  I could not even begin to get them on.  Lastly, to activate the wrap, you soak it in the sink for 5 - 10 seconds.  After doing this, I applied the wrap forgetting about the sink.  When I returned to the sink, the black resin on the wrap had adhered to the porcelain sink and I had to use fine grit sand paper to get it off.  No amount of solvent would dissolve it.  Just beware.

This Only Works for a Limited Application

it didnt work on gluing my shoe heel but will try to glue it a double coat.
