Speaker Power

Lasts through long listening sessions without recharge.

Easy to connect to wi-fi and bluetooth for streaming.

Setup and navigation are straightforward with solid controls.

Features a classic style with modern elements.

Delivers vocals, deep bass, and well-toned sound.

The sound quality on this speaker is fantastic. Rich, full, and well balanced across bass, mids and treble. A clear step above JBL's portable range. The retro design with the Quadrex grille looks great too. It's the kind of speaker you actually want on display rather than hidden away.

The built-in Google Assistant and Alexa work well, and having WiFi streaming alongside Bluetooth and AirPlay means it plays nicely with everything.

Two minor gripes. First, it's marketed as portable but it's bulkier and heavier than you'd expect. The battery and handle are handy for moving it room to room, but you wouldn't want to lug it much further than that. Second, the figure-8 power cable feels dated when everything else has moved to USB-C. Neither are dealbreakers, but worth knowing.

Overall, really happy with this purchase.

Looks and sounds amazing

jbl.com

Love my new Authentics 300s! Put them in every room in the house , on the porch, on the deck, in the living room, in the garage! Anyplace you put em sound is great!

Awesome speakers

I've been using this speaker for a month now and I'm delighted. The quality of the sound is very good, with bass very present if needed. The fact that it is transportable is a real plus, I can use it from one room to another. Finally the finish is very good, with the use of rewarding products. The app allows you to listen to music via wifi (the bluetooth is of course present), but not all streaming apps are available. Finally, to make the most of the sound quality, it is better to be well in front of the speaker

Super Pregnant

First class sound and workmanship, bass sounds superb, and the battery life is great for any event your having

Great bass

I am amazed by the sound quality, aesthetics, finish and features of my JBL Authentics 300 that I love..!! And what a sound...!! But what a sound...! Thank you JBL for making us beautiful products like this! - Yes.

Superb high-end product..! - Yes.

This speaker is very good. Lightweight easy to carry with its handle. - 5kg. The care is net no problem even at high volume. It has both a rustic and modern design. Not bulky with 34cm long. Perfect in my interior. Modern with volume, bass adjustment buttons. Equipped with Bluetooth and voice assistance and Wi-Fi. 1 audio input, 1 Ethernet and USB. I'm very happy

A net sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the housing and package is clever and top notch, it fits right in the cubby book shelves in our living room. It is classy, simple, and does not look tacky or faddish. The real bang for this product is the sound quality and the power out of this compact design. My family was just giddy and dancing around the living room all through the holidays with this box booming holiday tunes! Super great sound quality, easy to use, a real quality wireless speaker! I would definitely recommend this product for anyone wanting to upgrade their Bluetooth speaker experience.

What amazing sound!

I scrutinized this speaker for a whole month by stringing up the test videos. Eventually I bought it. At the opening I fall in love with its design that goes everywhere, as much in a modern and refined decoration, as in a more natural/woody decoration. In short, let’s get into practice: the sound is very good, I often leave the highs almost to the maximum, the first negative point is the lows. I explain: the speaker has very clearly a lot of bass thanks to its subwoofer, but to have the best effect it is necessary to position it against a wall or a piece of furniture, otherwise the bass will be less present. The second negative, and not least, is the battery. In my opinion, it is really too fair! 2 small afternoons in the garden and we are already on the edge of the abyss... It also serves me associated with an outdoor projector, it is also very good for this use, and the battery holds better when you watch movies or series, than during music sessions. I recommend this speaker, but for me the black dot is the battery.

Very good, but needed improvements

I bought it for both the inside and the outside. The basses are present, the sound is quite directional. Too bad it only accepts one wifi at a time. Autonomy seems good. Spotify Connect works perfectly. The finishes are very good.

Good product

The AirPlay feature is random, launching music from the iPhone is a complicated journey, we have to wait for the speaker to be recognized what does not happen every time. Forced to reset and set up the device again. In addition, Alexa does not support the Apple Music account, which is handled very well by an Echo speaker from Amazon. I regret my purchase which does not allow me the listening comfort promised by the brand.

A belle promise that is disappointing

JBL AUTHENTICS 300 portable Bluetooth speaker with black leather-like enclosure, metal handle, and retro Quadrex grille in black with gold trim, featuring top control knobs and JBL logo, ideal for wireless music streaming and built-in voice assistants.
