I bought it yesterday. It's so nice, I love it. I also installed JBL QuantumENGINE app on my PC, it's great. Good sound, looong cable, high quality microphone. USB adapter is very useful. My PC has two 3-pin connectors but headset has 4-pin connector, so USB adapter is my salvation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really nice headphones. I have used them for listening to YouVideos and such. Also plugged them into my cell phone and listened to music. Great sound and really nice bass.Actually the whole range was excellent.Seems there really is "space" between the lows and highs,they are really separated. 

I am a licensed Amateur Radio operator and
used them with Ham Radio software and my audio reports were excellent!
Seems the mic really is tuned for the speech range and sounds outside that are kind of muffled or muted. Nice audio punch without having to yell into a microphone.

Pro's...Light weight and great sound.
Con's.. They seem a little tight on my ears,and also a little hot after a while.
(The tight fit does block out external sounds though)

These are definitely  worth considering if your
 in the market for some new cans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though the headphones were created for the gamers I found they work great for video conferencing apps as well. The package comes with a 3.5mm jack and a 3.5mm to USB adapter so if your laptop does not come with an auxiliary jack you can still use the USB adapter. The left cup has a volume control and microphone. The cushions are comfortable but not too bulky. I tested the headphones on Zoom, Google Meet and Facebook Messenger and are all compatible. Now that we are allowed to work remote full time, these video conferencing tools have become so essential.

Over the ear fit is good and sound quality is what I expected from JBL. I think they have the best sound when it comes to speakers.

Doing Work From home requires talking on the phone once in a while, and to be fair, this headset got a workout on a daily basis. Good stereo sound, and team mates could hear me very well! Much better than the free headset earplugs that come with a new cell phone. Trouble is, once too many times picking up to use it. The hinge on one of the ear cups just gave up, no use trying to tape it back together or anything. Again, to be fair, it got a lot of use over the last year and a half! I'll buy one again, and I wish I could keep using this one.

Greatest Headset I Owned Until It Broke

I asked for a headset for my birthday. I asked for the Quantum 100, but my grandpa went above and beyond and got me the 300. I was stoked. I didn't have a PC at the time, so using the mic jack and plugging it into my Xbox controller worked fine. I got a PC and was happy because I could use the USB. So, I plugged it in, and it installed the software, which seems to be fine. I started using the headset and USB with Discord, (which it's certified with.) Each time I join a call or switch a channel, I have to unplug the USB, plug it back in, and wait for a few seconds before it works. If it decides to not work, then once I unplug them, all the sound I couldn't hear comes from my speakers in a short half of a second burst. Yes, I could use them without the USB, but then the cord is too short to reach my PC and ends up pulling on the headset the whole time. Does anyone know why/how I could fix it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression of the JBL Quantum 300 are good. JBL doesn't disappoint with the quality of sound you get for the value. I used the headphone for light gaming on my PS4 playing Call of Duty most of the time. They do help your gameplay when playing, being able to hear foot steps around you. I also used the headphones with some light music listening.

Some cons for the Quantum 300 are that they don't feel premium. The ear cups feel to loose since there on a swivel. The braided cable is nice but it feels a bit thin, and the 3.5 connector is an awkward shape. A right angle connector would've worked better. The sound does sound a bit distorted when using it at high volume. There is lack of bass and treble. Sounds bit on the sharper side. 

Pros are the the ear pads are super plush and comfy. Not to heavy when using the headphones for a long period of time. The volume rocker is easily assessable and the mic is easily turned off by just moving it up. Sound quality of the microphone is good. To complaints from chatting online, my voice was heard clear.

Okay sound. Comfortable.

Bought the headset a little over a year ago.  There is a systemic problem with this JBL line of headphones where the swivel point for the hear pieces will crack (see photo).  This happened a little over 4 months into its use.  We sent them back for repairs and they were replaced.  Same thing happened to the replacement headphones as well as the 200's that were also purchased.  Since they were no longer under warranty I repaired them using epoxy and fibreglass, so they no longer swivel, but they will not fall apart any further now.

Now at the end of a year with them the mini jack has cracked and it no longer works with the mic.

Poor quality

I bought this headset a few months ago and they were great. Zero complaints about the function, however they are sooo prone to breaking at the point where the ear pieces meet the headband. At these points the speakers swivel and through the attachment that swivels, there are cables running through. About a month in, I notices a couple pieces about the size of a grain of sand were missing. 2.5 months in while wearing the headset, a large piece popped off, landing on my keyboard, and the headphone was swinging free. At that point I could clearly see how overly prone to failure that point was. The plastic is very brittle, and surprisingly thin.

Very delicate

Purchased quantum 300's, the hardware is fine but the software is far from ideal, and by that I mean awful.
Once installed for the first time I set up the quantum surround and loaded fortnite, the game cannot find the headset when quantum surround is enabled. Disabling and setting it to stereo let's the headset be detected in fortnite, not a great start but OK.
When lifting the mic it mutes the microphone, however seemingly at random it will not unmute, only physically unplugging the dongle and restarting quantum software fixes this.
I've finally become fed up and purchased a ysplitter to split the mic and headphones and use my sound card instead of the USB dongle thus eliminating quantum software and all the issues. 
Once I did this I tried to uninstall quantum software, it does not appear in the add/remove programs in Windows 10, I also cannot disable it from running at startup, I had to use regedit to remove the software.
Overall now the headset works flawlessly once quantum software removed from the equation, but the software not fit for purpose.
