what u truly like about the headphones was the shape of the ear covering. it more of an oval shape ,rather than the normal shape which is round. it gives it a better fit.

jlabaudio.com

The build quality of these headphones is amazing. The battery life is way more then you'll need for your day. Being as lightweight as they are and having the foam ear cups makes wearing them enjoyable. The matching backpack case is a very nice touch. JLAB take bow, because you have done an outstanding job with this product.

Excellent Product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is great. Clear Sound, Comes fully charged and connect to any devise easily. I need to get used to speaking on the phone with it as people around me are saying that I am screaming. They headphones are comfortable while wearing and put little to no pressure on my head. I would recommend these.

Great product

Light build, great battery, good sound, super super comfortable cans, easy controls, nice passive noise reduction with the foam faux pads. I love these so much. Only thing I could think to make them better would be a hearthrough mode. Butttt for the money these are 110% worth every red cent. Good job JLab!

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleasantly surprised by the sound, quality, comfort, ease of use and battery life from these stylish, inexpensive headphones!
Great look. Astounding battery life. No App needed to pair and adjust controls!
I have broken this review into (1-5) "star ratings," based on the topics that would be important in my decision making process.

COMFORT: 5/5
Soft, light weight, pillow-like ear cups are shaped to contour the ears. They also STAY IN PLACE while working around the house and working out and don't fall off when you tilt your head!

DURABILITY: 4/5
Although they are so comfortable and lightweight, thehead band includes a unique stitching pattern that allows for greater mobility and durability (see photo)

Personal testament: I wore these headphones in bed while listening to a meditation and accidentally fell asleep. I did not wake up again until morning, when I found them in my sheets!

BATTERY LIFE: 5/5
Incredible life! I have owned and tested these headphones for about 10 days now, using them for a few to several hours each day and have not charged them once. Each time, the automated voice would say, "battery full!" It wasn't until today, a week and a half of moderate to heavy usage, that the voice claimed, "battery, medium!"

SOUND: 4.5/5
Very clear! Gives illusion of surround sound and has 3 separate automatically tuned settings available.
  1. "Bass Boost" 5/5 for the price!
  2. "JLab Signature" 4/5 Vocals& bass enhancement. Audible background sounds and clear vocals. Moderate bass enhancement
   3. "Balanced" 3.5/5 I prefer the JLAB setting for something in the middle, but sound quality is still clear and well balanced.
Headphones are not individually customizable beyond these 3 settings.

I LOVE that these headphones keep the sound focused inward. This is great for moms or partners who don't want to disturb their significant others while jamming out or studying lectures in bed! (They seem to only be heard externally at the loudest 3 clicks in a dead silent room!)

NOISE CANCELATION: 4/5 This is impressive as well! While passing construction, on my neighborhood walk, I was able to hear my lectures clearly! They aren't quite as good as my $200 galaxy buds, but I could understand the voices over the loudest outside noises, without missing anything important.

EASE OF USE: 5/5
NO APP NECESSARY for full product use!Easy to understand and operate. Simplified manual makes operating a breeze! PDF manual available under "JLAB STUDIO ADJUSTMENTS" Google search, if you lose the one in the box.
Bing popped up on my phone, instead of "OK Google," as manual details. Easy fix under settings on phone.

BUILT IN MIC: 4/5
Worked well for searches. Like that I can take a call while cleaning up the house and not have to carry my phone around.

RANGE: 5/5
Suggested range is 33 ft without major obstacles/ rooms. I was able to hear my m music clearly out by my mailbox, which was 3 rooms, several obstacles and about 35ft from my kitchen, where I left my device.

Additional notes include: perks with purchase! (3 month trial of "Tidal" and free gift with registration).
I also LOVE the fact that JLAB suggests PROPER DISPOSAL of their product, post-life. They even mentioned checking your local supermarket for disposal of your dead/ broken electronics! I had no idea that some supermarkets will do this! Very environmentally friendly, JLAB!

In conclusion, I highly recommend the JLAB Studio headphones for budget concerned individuals for ANY use!

Incredible purchase for a variety of uses!

TLDR; The headphones have great battery life, great sound, great feel and great price for what you get. There are other more expensive headsets that have less battery life than what these headphones have.

These headphones were a gift and I am already thinking about the next pair of headphones from Jlab that I will buy when I get tired of using these.

For this price, this is the best set of headphones I have ever worn. I have been wearing this headset for about 5 hours consistently now and sometimes I forget they are on my head. This is the most comfortable headphones I have worn in quite a while.

The best thing I love about this headset is the sound quality. Listening to music and playing games on my phone is absolutely great. I can also use this headset on my gaming laptop and if I watch movies it sounds amazing. The games sound really good too.

The microphone on it could be a little bit better. I have tested out 2 calls now and both have said it sounds like if I was calling them from the speakerphone in my car. That is the only con I find in these headphones.

Battery life: This headset boasts 50+ hours of play time and when I first got these on 11/6/2020 it had 100% battery life on it.

This headset also comes with a USB Type C charge cord that you can plug into your laptop or computer to charge overnight.

Earcups are great. They have a natural curve on them like the shape of an ear. They are super comfortable to wear and I am super pleased with how they feel. The comfort level is on par with higher priced headsets from other manufacturers.

Ease of use: Super simple and easy to use and pair with your phone. The headset even tells you when you get connected or disconnected. There is a voice that speaks to you when that happens.

Custom EQ Sound: The headphones have 3 built in EQ settings. This tells you that on the box but once you open up you have Jlab Signature sound settings,You have balanced sound settings, and you have Bass Boost sound settings. When you switch through each of the EQ settings the headset actually tells you which specific setting you have picked. No software needed for that.

I did notice there was an app for these headphones, I have not tried to download it yet though. If I ever do I will be sure and update this review.

Final though: I had been looking at this headset for 3 days prior to actually getting it. I am glad I did in fact get it. I had the choice of headsets to get as a gift and I chose these. I am super happy and glad that I picked these.

Headset was purchased at Best Buy.

Great headset and great price

Sound is good. Bluetooth pairing and connectivity is also easy and flawless. The range is also good as I can keep moving around my whole house while listening. They are very soft and fit perfectly over my ears and I love that. The only issue I am having is whenever I power on the headphones they connect to the laptop automatically. The status in the settings show as "Connected voice". In that case there is always an intermittent noise on anything I try to listen. But when I disconnect and manually reconnect the headphones, the status shows as "Connected voice, music"; the headphones work fine. So basically I always have to manually reconnect the headphones to laptop before I can smoothly listen to anything.

Very good wireless headphones for the price.

Samsclub.com

It worked well until it didn't. I've bought two pairs over the past year or so, and each pair only lasted a little over 6 months likely. The first pair, the power button got stuck in (wasn't applying a ton of pressure) and it rendered them useless, and nothing online how to fix it. The second pair, regardless of my efforts, they no longer pair immediately. I have to go to the bluetooth page, entirely disconnect and "forget" them and re-pair them as if I was connecting it for the first time. For someone who uses it very frequently and goes from off and on a lot, it got very irritating.

Works Well Until It Doesn't

We've gone through several pairs of these over the last few years and they are all garbage. Unfortunately, they are the only kind our autistic son will wear. for $40 a pop, they should hold up a little better than this. The warranty is impossible to use and thr added warranty through Walmart via Allstate is garbage and reverts to the unusable warranty from the manufacturer. Perhaps a claim to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the FTC would be the next step to take.
