Ease Of Use

Although it is still a bit early to assess their effectiveness, my experience using them in previous years shows that they have improved the overall health of our trees and bushes, aiding their growth and increasing foliage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They work! My trees and shrubs are greener and fuller all season long. I put the spikes in the ground in late fall, when the ground is moist and then again in late spring. The only drawback is they have a tendency to break into powder when hitting them with a rubber mallet. The ground has to be really soft.

Use every year

These may work great but I cannot vouch for them because the night after putting in 14 spikes throughout my yard the nightly skunk I have that roams discovered and dug up half of them!  It has been a month later that these things must be candy to them because they can sniff them 6” underground and they are still digging them up and leaving holes and piles of dirt all over my yard.  I now have very strategically place dirt patches (vs my grass) and no fertilizer stakes left as the rodents have picked them out like lollipops one by one and have dug up the same holes in search for crumbs days later.  I have used the non-organic versions past years with zero issues.  Something in the organic material.
