The JORGENSEN Cabinet Master Bar Clamps are ideal for flat panel, box, cabinet, frame and panel doors assemblies or any other project that requires squareness or evenly applied pressure. Large plastic jaws assure the distribution of clamping pressure over large areas. The jaws stay parallel to assure squareness and prevent work pieces from bowing or lifting. Built in clamp stand allows clamps to stand upright for one handed use and easier/quicker sliding head adjustment. The sliding head can be reversed on the bar and the clamp then acts as a spreader. Opening capacity is 36 inches, clamping faces are 3-3/4" height and 1-7/8" width, high-carbon steel bar is 1-3/16" X 3/8", screw is 5/8â€ cold-drawn steel with special, smoothly cut ACME threads, large easy to grip handle and load limit is 1,000 lbs. The Chicago based Pony Tools Inc. which was established in 1903 is the manufacturer of all JORGENSEN Bar Clamps. The JORGENSEN Cabinet Master Bar Clamps are made with U.S. and foreign parts in our Chicago factory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cabinet Master clamps are the best parallel clamps I have used over the years. Other manufacturers have good clamps but the Jorgensen clamps are superior in my opinion.  I have a few sets of different lengths so can handle both large and smaller projects. One difference that shines for me is the clamping surface area of the heads are larger than the competitors giving me more confidence during my glue ups. The locking mechanism itself has never failed me and is easy and smooth to set in place. They are also rugged which is perfect in a workshop where they see lots of use. I would recommend Cabinet Master parallel clamps without hesitation.

Pony Jorgensen

They say you can never have too many clamps and I've tried to take that adage to heart in my shop.  But, the truth is, when push comes to shove... I'm always reaching for my Jorgensen parrallel bar clamps.  Stout, Sturdy and Versatile Jorgensen are my go-to clamp!  I can always depend on them helping to keep things square and putting the pressure where it's needed.  They are even more useful when I run out of hands-on a tricky assembly because I can evn get them in position and clamped with only one hand.  
      So; I say,"You can never have too many Jorgensen clamps!" 
"Please Sir, May I have another?"

Custom Cabinets Best Friend!

Works well, not too cumbersome to use, and can help tackle some of the bigger cabinetry projects that I have ahead of me. I think that the quality is fine for what this tool is and was what I expected from the price.

Easy to use, pretty good quality

I purchased these parallel clamps about two months ago, first set I have owned. I had never realized what I was missing out on. The even pressure and easy set up has improved my glue ups drastically, and more importantly efficiently. Time to upgrade and purchase some larger ones for future products! Cannot wait!

Even Clamping Pressure

I purchased my first set of parallel clamps a little over a year ago and after the first use for my cutting board glue ups I have purchased eight more sets with the last being only four days ago. The clamping pressure is the most even and probably the strongest out there for this particular style of clamp. Prior to my first set of Jorgensen's I had tried many brands of clamps and I wasn't ever fully satisfied but now I exclusively only use/buy Jorgensen clamps for my shop.

Great clamp, square and smooth working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to add 18" length to my inventory of parallel-jaw bar clamps. The Jorgensen Cabinet Master fit the bill and was competively priced. The clamp is well built with comfortable easy-grip handles, and the jaws slide easily along the sturdy bar. A few twists of the handle apply ample clamping pressure, and the jaws are remain true when holding the work piece securely. The only quibble is there is a bit of manipulation needed to get the handle alignment just right to slide the moving jaw into place making one-handed adjustment awkward. (Every woodworker could use an extra hand, or two, on occasion.)

SOLID AND DEPENDABLE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a set of these in order to build my kitchen cabinets, a major undertaking. They worked very well in constructing the cabinet "boxes" and even better when I glued up the panels for the doors; very little warping! They made a tough job, for this amateur, much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So very helpful, can't go wrong with Jorgensen! One of those tools that you don't necessarily use a lot, but mighty handy when you have one! I've never been disappointed with any of their clamps. Brilliant!

Awesome brand and clamp

I bought three of these clamps. Two work fine, but one is locked in the closed position. No matter how I twist the handle, I can't get the body of the clamp to move down the bar. I've looked for any kind of manual or support material and have found nothing online. I'll have to return this to the store. I'm tempted to return all three, as this seems to be a design flaw the other two may be susceptible to.
