I'm a typical sweaty male and year round, but certainly in the hotter months, I need powerful soap.  I always try to bring Lava soap into the shower but the wife complains about the industrial smell.  This is strong enough to scrub off the scum and has a good smell.  Now I'm excited for the summer to really give it workout!

I love it.. Honestly. I use the Jack Black Turbo wash every day and love the scent and overall effectiveness it; the charcoal body bar complements it perfectly. It has a great scent, not feminine, cleans off the dirt and grime after mowing the lawn, working on the car, and a long weekend of camping.

This soap is great. I'm not sure about the reviewers who aren't getting longevity out of the bar...I get about a month out of a bar and I'm a big guy....perhaps they leave the shower spraying on the soap dish or something. Anyway, leaves my skin clean, and has cleared up a dry skin problem that I get on my butt sometimes.

Long Lasting, Great Soap

Im so used to gel body washes i.e Old Spice, Axe. I picked this up about a month ago as well as an exfoliating scrub pad and cloth pad. I did notice it start to tear my skin and found out I was scrubbing excessively because the jojoba also scrubs. It leaves my skin smooth and my bacne is a lot better.

Worth it

Really loving the new charcoal soap. I was worried it would get black stuff all over me. Not the case at all. Great, masculine scent. Entire bathroom smells great. Very rich lather that goes a long way. Leaves a feeling of clean but not drying at all. The built in scrubbers are awesome for heals and rough parts. Will definitely be ordering again. Great for travel too. Another winner at Jack Black.

Better than expected!

Upon first use it felt much more coarse than any other bar that I've tried but after the first use you'll have learned comfortable pressure for use. I did expect the bar to last a little longer then it did but, when i went to re-order another one I noticed how reasonable the price was when compared to similar sized competitor (I didn't pay attention to price on first purchase as i don't let that be a factor in trying new things).
Needless to say i'll keep re-ordering this bar; Great scent and feel!

My favorite body bar; However...

Very good product. Cleans and exfoliates and leaves the skin feeling exceptionally nice.  Doesn't lather as much as the turbo bar that I have been using.  Nice fragrance, but I prefer the Turbo Bar fragrance.Every new product that Jack Black comes out with seems to be an improvement upon the previous one.  All over body wash was great, but was improved upon with Turbo Wash. I find Beard Lube to be better than Supreme Cream which preceded it.I will give this new soap some more time before a final judgement.  I am still using the first bar that I recently purchased.

The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't lather that well, but that may be with any charcoal soap, IDK. The good is that it feels great on the skin with all those jojoba beads in it. Not long ago I got two Recluse bites on my leg. I had read that charcoal will draw out impurities and will work for insect bites and such (that's why I bought the soap in the first place). Of course I kept the bites bandaged and used an ointment, but every time I bathed I used JB charcoal soap. The bites never necrotized and cleared up in two and a half weeks. Permanent customer here of this soap.

For any women looking at this product.
Even though it's for men, I really like how it exfoliated my skin. The scent of course, was much like men's cologne, which was nice, but some women may not like that. I thought it smelled great. My husband liked it too.

Charcoal body bar

Seems overpriced for what you get. While it does exfoliate the skin and have  a pleasant smell, I can't justify spending this kind of money for a bar of soap that will only last a few weeks at most. While the massaging side is nice, it doesn't last long enough.

Not worth the price.
