[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bed for a beach trip or a cottage anywhere. All the parts were there and it took only a few minutes for ME to set it up. I am OLD and 100% DISABLED, TOTALLY AND PERMANTELY. so I know if I can do it , with a little help from my wife, anyone can. I have 3 beds in my house to try to get some rest on. It is a trip for me just to get in a position to get a little rest. After putting a mattress on it (which I purchased from WAL-MART), I slept very well for almost all night, I never do that. It's usually around 2 am, before I get to sleep from exhaustion. Well, this bed and mattress combination helped me a lot. I now have 4 beds in my house, one of which is a hospital bed. This bed has added a measure of comfort to my sleep that I had given up on. I strongly advise anyone looking for a very good value in a bed, to take a look at this one. I would buy one in a minute , knowing what I know now.
Trust me, If I recommend it, it's worth recommending. If not I would say so.

Great second bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this review is for the DHP JACKSON MODERN METAL TWIN BED FRAME(black).
this bed frame is the standard size twin. 
when this bed was delivered, the shipping box was approximate 4'feet 
x 4' feet. i was expecting 6' foot rails, but the rails on this bed
frame is divided into 4 pieces, 2 pieces for each side. they are 
joined in their middles by inserting 1 section end inside the opposite
section, matching up the preset holes to be able to insert 2 bolts. 
 this bed comes with several pieces consisting of head and foot 
boards, 2 side rails(4 pieces), 1 support bar, 2 extra support
legs(which attaches to the support bar), several rounded metal slats
that have flattened ends that fit into the slots on the rails,
and an equal amount of plastic stabilizers for the slats which is
used to prevent the slats from moving. all the hardware and allen
wrench is included to accomplish assembly of this bed.
 this DHP JACKSON MODERN METAL TWIN BED FRAME, all combined is 
very heavy even though all the bed parts are hollow. the height 
from the floor up is approximately 11" inches. 
 when first looking at all the pieces/parts, its overwhelming.
but, ive made it a point to strictly stick with the program and
begin with step #1 and dont rush ahead. i assembled this bed by
myself, but honestly it doesnt really take very long to put it
together. what takes so long is if you have to clear out space in
your room, or clean in between, or unexpected interruptions. i
actually was able to sit in a chair to put this bed together 
except during the last 4 slats. the bolts are thick and strong.
the support bar and legs are positioned directly in the middle of
the bed frame for proper weight displacing. 
 when putting pressure on the slats, they have a bouncy give to
the bars themselves.but if you place equally balanced weight 
across all the bars at once, the give isnt as great, especially
with the support bar and extra legs in the middle.
 this DHP MODERN METAL TWIN BED FRAME has enough space to fit
a thick mattress, as tall as you want or need. my mattress is a
standard plain and sits directly onto the rails, NO box spring.
this leaves a space available between the mattress and the head
board of several inches, but my pillow doesnt slip between that
space. the foot board PREVENTS mattresses from sliding off the
end of the bed. 
 **NOTE: save the cardboard shipping box and cut it down to
 the shape of the bed frame. lay these 2 pieces or
 more, across the entire length of slats. this way, the
 mattress has something flat to lay on. or purchase
 some type of underlayment otherwise if your mattress
 is as thin and basic as mine, it would cause impressions
 to form where slats are touching.
 **WEIGHT LIMIT: 225 lbs. 
the bed was comfortable sleeping.

DHP JACKSON MODERN METAL BED,twin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very neat bed for a child. I have the black one and it is just the right size for a child. It does come in several different sizes. It is made very well and all you need is your mattress. It is a metal bed and looks very nice. It should last for years or at least until they outgrow it.

Very Nice twin bed for a child

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty simple but good looking, well made bed. When it was delivered I was concerned, the box was only 4x4 foot. The bed rails are in pieces and fit together. All of the parts fit well together and there is nothing hard about putting this bed together. In fact assembly is fairly simple. The slats are metal and have plastic to keep the from moving. This bed seems to be heavy duty and is rated for 225 lbs but is easy to move around, only weighs 37.5 lbs. Has head and foot board, requires no box spring and a pillow top fits well. Sleeps comfortable and has a 11 inch height for under storage.

Jackson twin metal bed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed frame has an attractive modern style with simple clean lines. I think this is a great bed for a child's bedroom. Because a mattress is all that's needed and the frame has nice price point it is a budget set up for a good night's sleep. The headboard isn't as tall as I envisioned but still a great look with clean lines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing any new owner will note is that this bed is sturdy - and heavy. Not so heavy as to be unmanageable once it is assembled, but get a friend to help you move the "kit" around and have a clear, roomy space for assembly. You will need a minimum of tools - adjustable wrench or the proper sized ratchet sockets or double-end wrenches and a screwdriver or two, but give yourself more time than you first estimate to put all the parts together. This is a well-built bed and should last a lifetime.
PS, I found that the height is just right. With the mattress/box springs on the frame, a child won't have any problems getting in or out of it. An adult will be able to sit down comfortably, and you'll have loads of space (vertical clearance) to stuff your stuff underneath.

A bed for home or permanent hunting camp

I think the styling of this bed is very clean. Because it has such a simple, but elegant design I think it fits in a lot of settings. Looks great in my guest room. Really changed the look of the room. The fit and finish of the bed are first rate. All in all I love this bed! If you need a nice looking and well made bed, this one would be hard to beat!

Very Nice Bed

I was worried about how it might arrive, but side rails are 2 pieces and carton was manageable for me to pull inside from porch. Black metal is nice, and it's sturdy, plus high enough to allow for storage of stuff up underneath too. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a full time bed for a child or an adult. I was pleased with the appearance of the metal bed frame after the setup. All of the bed parts were good in the packaging and the instructions were easy to follow. The metal bed frame was convenient in size for the room it will be utilized in. Additionally, I like the color (black) of the frame, as I wanted a black metal frame bed for the room it would be used in. The features of the bed would allow it to last for a long time. Quality is very important for me regarding purchases. I believe this metal bed frame will last for years of use. The metal bed felt comfortable laying on it and it was very easy to move around in the room with 1-2 people. I would recommend this metal bed frame to anyone looking for a small bed frame that will last and is not excessively heavy. I give this review 4 out of 5 stars overall.

IT HAS A MODERN DESIGN WITH THE STYLE OF THE 1900'S TO 1950'S.I REALLY LIKE THE HEADBOARD AND FOOT BOARD. IT HAS A VERY STURDY FRAME WITH AND EXTRA SET OF LEGS IN THE MIDDLE TO ADD EXTRA SUPPORT . IT HAS A STEEL FRAME MADE WITH SIDERAILS . THAT DOES NOT NEED A FOUNDATION FOR YOUR MATTRESS. WHICH IS AN ADDED BONUS.THE FRAME ALSO HAS AN 11 INCH SPACE UNDER THE BOTTOM. WHERE I STORE EXTRA BLANKETS . BENEATH THE MATTESS SKIRT. THIS MAKES A GREAT BED FOR ONE OF THE SPARE BEDROOMS. BUT, IT HAD CHIPPED PAINT FROM SHIPPING . WHEN I RECIEVES IT
