I am thrilled with my purchase! I have let my hair go gray and the vanilla and dove gray are perfect. I'm in my sixties, so dealing with crêpe eyelids. I had trouble until I used a bit of primer, then it slid on and blended like magic. It stays all day - I work in kitchen! The shipping was fast. I will continue to use this wonderful product!

Perfect Eyeshadow Choice

I am glad I gave these eyeshadow sticks a 2nd chance. I recently bought saddle, ivy and gatsby - great match for my greenish eyes. It seems they improved/changed the formula, or my (ageing) eyelids have changed too, so the eyeshadows now work really well. No creasing, elegant color payoff with one or two swipes, but could be built up.
I am hoping JI comes up with peachy-beige and matte bone shades and other warmer/neutral toned colours.

Sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the eye shadow on the lids, however I had hoped to use a dark one for liner. I am really struggling with that. The line comes out too thick for me even as I sharpen it. I really prefer the pencil as liner for me. The shadow on the lids is beautiful, stays well and so easy to apply.

I was very interested in trying something other than neutral tones for my eyelids. I would shy away from using Eye Shadow Sticks due to the fact that it could very well do more harm than good to your eyelids. In my opinion, eyeshadow powders are a much safer bet. I won't be using sticks again.
