I prefer the graphite (goat hair) Handi brush as it provides for a lighter and more even application of my PurePressed powder.  While I do not object to synthetic fibers per se, I found the new rose gold (naturon) Handi brush to be too "heavy-handed" for applying powder foundation.

This brush is made of natural goat hair and is soooo soft!!!!  It will not irritate your skin even if you have rosacea or acne.  But you must wash it every 4 to 6 weeks in order to get rid of bacteria. Wash with mild soap and water and do not let water get down into the handle area so the bristles will not fall out. Then air dry. Will last a long time as long as you take care of it properly.

Great quality but must take care of it properly.

Application was even & precise when I used it with my Warm Sienna pressed powder. My powder didn't go on too heavy and I was able to manipulate/drag the powder where I needed it the most. Prompt delivery along with product info inserts, not to mention the cutest packaging. It was nice to receive a hand wrapped gift with a sprig of lavender attached. I even took a pic of the packaging when I opened the box. Made receiving my products that much sweeter. Wish I could post the pic here.

Great brush!

I wanted to write about how much I love this brush! I already have he Chisel powder brush which I use for the loose mineral powder.  When I started using the pressed powder I continued using the chisel brush.  It worked OK with the pressed powder, but I didn't know any better.  Then I ordered the Handi brush for the pressed powder.  Wow, what a difference! Since this is a flat brush, it picks up much more of an even amount of the pressed powder than the chisel brush.  So I realized the brushes do make a difference: Chisel brush for loose base (because it picks up all the loose powder due to the way it's designed) and Handi brush for the pressed base.  Make a lot of difference.  I look good!

Better than I expected!

The hairs are super soft and do not irritate or pull up flaky patches on my sensitive rosacea skin yet do a great job of laying down the perfect amount of powder  foundation.  It applies a light layer that can be built up where you need more coverage without removing previous layers. I've used it with the pressed powder foundation and also the 'amazing base' loose powder foundation and it works great for both.  The brush feels very light and balanced when you hold it in your hand.  The entire length is 4-1/8" long and the bristle length is about 1-1/4".  Bristle density is medium-full which is perfect for picking up product and distributing gently onto skin. I love the size and feel of it in my hand and very convenient to store and travel with. I've had minimal shedding (one hair while washing before first use and one since using it several times).  There was an unusual, what I would describe as an "animal" smell to it (smelled like goat?) when I first used it but there is now no smell at all after a few uses and and an additional washing.  Absolutely the best powder foundation brush I've ever owned.

So soft and wonderful!

I was hesitant to spend the money on this brush, but it was suggested for use with the PurePressed Powder.  I must say that I am very happy that I purchased it.  It spreads and blends the PurePressed Powder beautifully, and it is light and airy in the process.  Overworking the minerals in the PurePressed Powder causes it to look shiny, but it doesn't look shiny at all with this brush because it blends effortlessly and lightly.

The Handi Brush

This is softer than I thought it would be but does the job perfectly.  Was a little disappointed with the instructions to clean it before using though. Never heard of that before.  But am happy I purchased along with the foundation and the hydration spray.

The first brush I received was loosing so many bristles, I contacted customer service they were more than happy to replace it with a new one. I couldn't be more happy with the new one!!  Thank you.

Very Satisfied

This brush works beautifully with the powder foundation. It applies smoothly and evenly and you can easily build, if you prefer. I will admit that at first I thought the brush was too small, however, it allows for a very natural application.

Really nice brush!

I have had my current brush for over 8 years. I purchased this one to have as a back up because the handle is becoming loose on mine. Definitely worth the money!

This brush is soft and works okay. It is smaller than I was expecting and very pricey for what it is. I took off an extra star because the hairs started falling out even before I washed it for the first time. It becomes a hassle doing makeup when hairs from your brush get stuck on your face in the process.
