I'm glad I listened to my coworker who raved about the blanket and coaxed me into purchasing it. Do I care if my heater is working in my place any more?Heck No.
I sleep like a newborn with the blanket, or have it around me while reading or on the internet.
If you know anyone who hates getting their rear-end frozen, buy this as a gift for them. They will love the blanket more than your warm heart. ;)

I bought my Sunbeam velvet plush heated blanket for Sciatica relief. As I found such relief from the pain of Sciatica, I decided to purchase one for my mother. She suffers from Arthritis. We both reside in Michigan which has brutal winters. Both of us wonder how we managed without a heated blanket before! I highly recommend this product for anyone who suffers from Sciatica or Arthritis. 5 ***** Star Rating!

Sciatica Relief!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Plush feeling. The only feature that I would like to have different is the controls. You cannot know if on or off unless you look at it so see if light is on. I would rather have more of a toggle switch so I can tell by feeling the switch. My only thought otherwise excellent value

Great Blanket

For the longest time I have wanted a queen size heating blanket. Received a heated throw a a gift years ago and love it. A blanket was on my list fora while and then I began shopping. Sunbeam brand had the best reviews and I took advantage of the sale around Thanksgiving. The blanket is soft, warm, and nice looking! It has dual controls which is great. I love it! Would recommend and buy again.

Love my new blanket

We purchased this blanket out of necessity after our older.one quit working. This new blanket is far superior in its lighter material and faster, warmer temperatures. The controls are easy to use and read and it was reasonably priced. We highly recommend this blanket to anyone in need.

Solved our problem!

It is so wonderful to get into a warm bed on cold nights.  It’s only November and we’ve already had nights with temperatures of 28 degrees.  I don’t want to get out of bed in the mornings. The blanket is so amazingly soft you can fell the softness under the sheets.

It is so soft and warm

Years ago my husband insisted on an electric blanket. I hated it! I'm a fresh air freak & sleep warm so added heat was not needed! Now I'm 65 & I have arthritis in my shoulders & hips.  I bought this blanket about a month ago (October) to bring me comfort throughout the night by keeping my joints warm. I so pleased! I'm decidedly sleeping better. I set it at "3" to warm up, then I put it back on "1" to sleep throughout the night.  I get up in the morning more limber & with less pain. Now that the snow is here I'm very glad I have it. I still can sleep with window open for fresh air & I'm snuggly warm all night. This plush material IS plush, NOT thin so wires aren't poking up like another blanket I had years ago. Dual controls are practical & work well to keep other side of bed cooler. Easy to plug in & make up into my bedding. I do have a comforter on top & still temperature stays consistent throughout the night.  I shopped across the internet & this is the best priced blanket from a known & trusted brand. The price is very reasonable for the quality, comfort & relief I'm getting.  I haven't washed it yet so I'll come back & review my experience when I do.

Careful shopping leads to great satisfaction

I bought this a few weeks ago, and I am very happy with the blanket. It certainly isn't my grandmas electric blanket. Our room doesn't have heat and the blanket keeps us nice and toasty. I love the fact that my husband can have his side hot and I can I can keep my side on low. We are very happy with our blanket even the dog likes it.

I purchased this twin sized heated blanket for my wife a few weeks ago. We use to own Sunbeam heated blankets for years. The blanket warms up very quickly. The controls have a timer feature to turn off at different times or turn it off. Hers is off. No need for a pre heat setting either. The feel is super soft. Fits the twin like a glove. Keeps my wife nice and toasty. Large lighted window on the control unit to adjust the temp. The only thing I miss is the wide, silky boarder to help you fold over your sheet on. The heated blanket end just curls up and clumps. Other than that it's very nice.

Sunbeam Velvet Plush Heated Blanket

This blanket gets my bed warm quickly, and the heat is evenly spread over the entire bed. I have a problem with the blanket sliding down off the foot of the bed. It is slinkly, and heavy at the bottom with the plug in, so it slides. For someone with a foot board on the bed, this should not be a problem. Overall it is a good quality purchase.

You can feel all the wires, because the blanket is so thin.  I have to be really careful that my toes don't get caught between the wires.  don't like the remote.
The only thing, I love about it is, it's so soft.
Next time, I will get a thicker, heavier blanket.
